Andrew Voss Commented On The WT Playing Jersey During Commentary Today

Apparently Paul Kent was just on TV endorsing the jersey. Saying that it wasn't either Wests or Balmain and that it was a design to allow WT's to forge their own identity.

Many have missed the boat in this regard it is a WESTSTIGERS Jersey ,this was made quite clear by the CEO and I agree. At long last the club is forming its own identity and about time, the sales figures will tell the story and will lay the platform for more grey :smiley:

Shouldn't it be - "Here is the brief, the clubs colours are…... come back with the designs."

Maybe we were lucky they didn't come back with green and white.....

Won't make many happy but IMO the colours are Black, (Orange/Gold) and white and no other colours should ever be worn for any reason.

The colours and the logo are sacred as far as I am concerned.

Same amount of white should be the same for home and away jumpers.
80% black, 10% white and 10% orange/gold.
80% orange, 10% white and 10% black.
12 games each.

No one misses out it is the same for both the JV partners.

Problems only start when the pendulum swings too far one way.

It wasnt a Wests Tigers jersey at all. Club is tricolour - black, orange (Gold) and white. This grey is simply some marketing interns brain fart.

Because this club love changing the designing of jerseys and colours in a cycle of now which seems to be from 2 years to now 1 year, is the reason I have NOT bought a tigers jersey since 2010, there was nothing wrong with the jerseys in the year 2000 2005 20010 and 2014 why??? simply we have a black Jersey with Gold, and Orange jersey with Black, and mixed in with some white on both.

I hated the white jerseys in 2003 2012 and now 2015 doesn't even look like Balmain Wests or Wests tigers!!! gives us the dark colours back where we look great. we are becoming to much like the NFL where teams are getting obsessed with having to wear white away from home, Orange would NOT have clashed with Blue!!! I hate seeing the raiders in white too or Broncos and storm

The only time a white jersey should be worn is in training and in the hot heat in Feb

The fact that makes the ex Balmain even worse is that it is now 15 years on since the JV started and after 15 long years of Orange being the primary color on nearly everything Wests Tigers a splash of white comes on and they are all up in arms.To qualify this argument(and save a useless Balmain-Wests crapshoot)I am Ex Balmain but have the intelligence to work out that Balmain(nor Wests) will ever come back.The white looks good and the Anzac Jersey looks totally amazing. :sign: :sign: :sign:

Nobody has claimed and said anything about a balmain jersey or white jersey????
Its about the colour grey! It doesnt belong we are known as the tigers they are genetically orange/gold black and for heritage we have a magpie and a full home black jersey….

I would rather a western suburbs heritage as our main and a balmain heritage as away but the little westy's now have a chance to remove the orange all together....
Started last year with the (blood orange) jerseys last year totally turned people away from them, wouldnt be surprised it started from this point now grey eventually......
So dont give me this breaking away and finding our own identity crap????
We have an identity, marketing wise the best logo and colours to attract the youth....

The only way there is grey in anything WestsTigers is if the black runs into the white after a good wash.
Forget all the dung being flung about the two original teams - our current colours are black, white and gold.

Was trying to put up some attachments but not working - however Souths, for example, now have supporters polos in our colours - black shirt, gold band and white rabbit.
You can also get a black cap with a large outline in gold of a rabbit on the front.

Theres nothing unique about gold, and orange is not our colour!!!!!!

Who cares what the colours are as long as they keep kicking arse. As an old Magpie I'd love to see the Pies play in the top grade again and while I don't follow the JV as madly as I did the Pies I still hope they kick arse!
