Stay tuned for an announcement on http://www.weststigers.com.au in the next 15 minutes #itsmylife

Any early guesses….
Brooks to debut?
Signing?
Sponsorship?

Perhaps they're toying with the idea to give any Tigers fan who was at the Roosters game a free season ticket for next season. Or maybe Benji's going to call up every Tigers member and apologise for being a knob!

Or perhaps more realistically the re-signing of a junior..

Very unlikely to be announcing changes to the NRL lineup in advance…

Yeah can't imagine they would do a press release for team changes.

Benji released early?
Coaching structure?
The board?

Yeah, surely they won't do a line up change like this?
But wouldn't be surprising since it could be one or two debutants, one of which is talked to be the next big thing. Hopefully!!

**Special permission granted for talented pair**

Wests Tigers have been granted permission from the NRL for exciting youngsters Luke Brooks and Nathan Brown to possibly make their first grade debuts this weekend.

The Club yesterday wrote to NRL Salary Cap Auditor Ian Schubert asking for permission to breach the second tier salary cap by allowing the talented pair to play against St George-Illawarra Dragons at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Saturday.

The decision as to whether Brooks and Brown will play will be made by Coach Mick Potter following the team’s final training session tomorrow.

The permission granted by Schubert was made under special circumstances given that neither team could make the NRL finals series.

This was a one-off application that will be assessed on a weekly basis subject to Wests Tigers upcoming matches in the final few rounds of the Telstra Premiership and whether the opposition teams can make the finals.

The decision by Schubert to grant permission was based upon it being in the best interests of the game as a whole.

Kudos to the club for announcing it.

Had to do something to get the fans to turn up

Surely they will play after it was announced like this.

Just hope Brooks is keen and is ready! Brown should handle his own pretty well.

So they will only be likely to play one game

Again ,I just don't see the benefits of a one off game

3/4 games hell yeah lets do it , but not for one

Too many risks to the NYC campaign if something goes wrong

I thought it was already approved. Anyway Potter has to pick him now you'd think.
I wonder how Benji's ego will handle being moved from the 6 jumper (halfback position) to centre, bench or reggies. Either way I see his body language being even worse this weekend.

Good luck to Brooks, really he only has to find his teammates chest and maybe get a couple of repeat sets from the boot and he'll be offering more then Benji at present. Oh and of course he'll have to find touch with penalty kicks.

I think they will drop Ava off the bench as I think he can still qualify for State Cup finals

What's the minimum amount of regular season games required?

Good move. I'm quite excited about seeing Brown in the top grade. Looks like he has a bit of fire in his belly, which is what we desperately need in the middle of the paddock.

There is no way that Benji and Brooks can play together in a halves pairing. I'm tipping that Benji will play in the centres and find the confidence that goes without having the responsibility of directing play. He will have his mate eLote outside him. If Benji finds one or two gaps early on he will go on with it. Good move. I genuinely hope he does.
