Some of this hasn't worked well for us. Not just Josh Reynolds/Packer... But the Jet and BJ too...

Particularly with Benji as a rookie coach, I would be ok with picking up a solid end of contract player. But I want to pick up someone who won't argue with the coach and go along.

Benji is aiming for Speed, so older players don't make the best sense in this case.

I was suggesting for Perth get a couple of leadership players with strong work ethics

Don't need them at Tigers and it shows

No - people in Sao Paulo or Madrid or Miami ( where there are franchises) wouldn't know what rugby union is let alone rugby league.

Maybe thats part of the attraction? Anonymity, less pressure, bucketloads of cash and seeing the world. Can see why players would be tempted

I'm sure their partners are pushing the boys to go to 360. I could imagine my wife if I said "I've got bad news babe, I'll get 1.5 mill tax free a year, but we'll have to live in an exotic location while travelling to other exotic locations for a few years" 😒

Yea that makes sense. As you are starting a club you want a few older players who can train in culture.

I think we need good leadership. I noted when we were chasing TPJ the Sharks hired Dale Finucane. He did nothing really on the field for them, but they are in the top 4 and their side is batting way above their roster.

Benji needs solid players behind him. One thing we heard was how Bateman undermined Benji. This kills a team. ... The bears need them. We need people behind Benji, better to play a wrong hand with full force then a right one half arsed.

He is big enough played 5/8 for Australia has some speed and a kicking game I think Robo will train him there and centre with how big the Roosters pack is Talau could potentially be amazing for them at 13
