During the week I was planning on organising a couple of away trip to see the Wests Tigers play in 2013 but then I realised, who can I fly with ? ………..Considering

Jet Star…………Sponsor the Titans
Virgin Blue…….Sponsor the Rabbits
Tiger……………Are unreliable.

I can not bring myself to indirectly finance any other NRL club or there juniors through purchasing from another clubs sponsors. I wonder if any one else indirectly supports other NRL clubs by purchasing there sponsors goods.

Going by that logic, you should never drive in a Toyota, go to the casino in Sydney or Melbourne, drink Oak milk, use Vodafone (no one should though anyway), or call the NRMA if your car breaks down. Now go buy yourself a Meriton apartment

Tiger –--> Owned by virgin (60%) Also has highest saftey rating of all airlines in aus. (Also is a sponsor of Wests tigers)
Virgin ---> Major shareholder overseas conglomerate, minimal re investment into Australian indusrty,
Jetstar----> Comical Airline ran by puppets, known to be well below industry standards. Sets standards low and successfully under achieves time and time agin. If the titans ever placed there safety in this airlines hands, I would guarantee the BYE would get a victory.
QANTAS - Well, virgin maybe owned by an overseas conglomerate, however I have never seen an airline be more of a benefactor to overseas employment on my lifetime. If this is the still the face of australian aviation, give me another spring roll. Would happily go into how the CEO has destroyed a national landmark, however easier said in terms of investment. (Mid 90's, 20 odd bucks a share, full franko, 13% div. Now bit over a buck 50, pay your tax...... sorry we no longer pay a divi..)

I don't wanna sound like a winging twat , However Air transport should be a public service, like roads and rail. We are one of the only countries that no longer has a flagship carrier where fares are subsidised by the local government. Lots of money is to be made in our air transport industry (SYD - MEL is one of the most travelled routes in the world) we should find a new Australian airline and get gov support.

RANT OVER....... for now.
