Another nice 'forum' to discuss NRL.

Been browsing and posting on [www.reddit.com/r/nrl](http://www.reddit.com/r/nrl) for a while now and it's grown quite substantially in the past 6 months or so and the quality of posting there is really amazing. A great destination to discuss NRL in general, with slight bias from your own team obviously.

Recommend it to anyone who just wants to talk footy, not tigers for a change. Especially stuff like expansion, origin, crowd figures, refs etc. etc.

This is the only good forum I have ever used, sometimes goes a bit overboard but the admins keep it clean. I don't like any other forum on the internet and I will not use them.

Have to agree with you, Milky. There sure is some rubbish out there. I've been astonished at some of the stuff I've read on other league forums and in other non-league forums as well. We are very fortunate to have this place to come and express our views and share a bit of harmless banter etc.

League unlimited is worth a read/lurk every now and then.
Noticed a few users from here post on there.

A forum for every team and the NRL section is great banter.

I post on 2 or 3 other forums but mainly USA posters on those.
Music related ones they are.

Gumtree is kind of a forum also, always lurk there.
Picked up some great bargains on there this year.
Pretty much decked out my granny flat into a video game/movie room/recording studio with items off there.

UM what? where on earth does the site condone child pornography? maybe some dodgy corner of the site did but not the entire site… that's like saying, any city that has crime will not be one i live in. That is why i hate sydney. faulty logic.

UM what? where on earth does the site condone child pornography? maybe some dodgy corner of the site did but not the entire site… that's like saying, any city that has crime will not be one i live in. That is why i hate sydney. faulty logic.

Their admins make no attempt to control the things that are said under the idea of free speech and therefore are okay with anything being said there. As such, they stand up for and condone the actions of the site

I'm sure it's not as bad as its being made out to be but those dark corners still need to have someone taking responsibility for them and until then I find it hard to go on/support it.

Reddit is one of the most diverse forums for discussion out there, but still has standards, and with hits in the BILLIONS per month, they wouldn't be in existence if they "condoned" CP.

Reddit is a collection of forums on EVERYTHING. The place has some pretty tasteless stuff, but you don't have to read it. It is basically the whole Internet shoved into one site. Browse what you like, ignore the rest. You don't despise using the Internet because of the twisted stuff that's out there. It's the same with Reddit.

There's a difference between encouraging and condoning.
I read an article a while ago about two parts of that site that took I think 5 years to be removed.
One was of child pornography and the other was where users would post photos they take of teenage girls without them knowing or consenting.
Put yourself in the position of a father, how would you feel if your daughter was a victim of that behaviour.

In the statement about their removal it was said they have been 'regrettably' removed. All in the name of free speech as was mentioned before. To me that's condoning.

Whether it's in a seedy dark corner of the site or not is irrelevant. It was there and moderators knew about it yet did nothing about it for ages. Being gone now doesn't change anything for me. I can't support a site like that.
