NRL player charged with drugs possession

The NRL has been hit with another potential drugs scandal with Canterbury forward Ofahiki Ogden charged with possession on Saturday night.
The Bulldogs confirmed to the Sydney Morning Herald an incident took place, and the NRL's integrity unit has been informed.
"The club was made aware of an incident involving Ofahiki Ogden overnight," Canterbury CEO Aaron Warbuton.

"We have reported everything to the NRL integrity unit. We can't comment further until we hear back from them.
"Ofahiki doesn't hold a contract past October 31."
Ogden, 25, has played 45 first grade games for the Bulldogs over four years, but the club has not offered him a new contract for next season.
Ogden's drugs charge comes only a week after Warriors teenager Reece Walsh was arrested outside a nightclub on the Sunshine Coast and was found in possession of cocaine.
