Any Roads Affected By Fires?

With a thousand fires burning the joint down all over the place currently, and the holidays upon us, are there any significant problem areas that should be avoided out there? I'm heading from the Gold Coast to Far South Coast of NSW and am assuming things are all clear at this point. I know a week or two back there were major problems around Batemans Bay and currently North of Sydney but if anyone knows of problem areas that can be avoided, it would be much appreciated.
