Yeah, that's a rubbish capacity. You'd think Campbo would be front of the queue being a shared venue with the a league team. Replicating the west stand at Newy would be all it needs. Actually if you get rid of the corporate grandstand, bring the eastern seating around both ends and roof it you'd have a cracking ground.

Yeah, but already been playing there between about 4 and 7 times a year for a couple of decades and for a long while under the same arrangements with Concord.
Though as @Snake mentioned, playing next door to a club that basically has nothing to do with WT anymore seems a little odd when Ashfield is financing the team.

It actually leaves us in quite a difficult spot, there has been a lot of people who agree that we should move to one ground, the issue is that none of them meet our needs.
LO- Outdated and fast becoming below NRL standard. NRL may be lobbying for upgrades but will be minor so still be below standard required.
CSS- Outdated and along way from our ownership base. The Wests Leagues club next door is not supportive of the club. NRL lobbying for new stadium but that will not solve many of the current issues.
Bankwest- Many fans complain that it is not our homeground as its built on the site of the former Parramatta Stadium and has an Eels League club next door.
ANZ- Totally unsuitable for our needs and now it will not be redesigned to make it more suitable.
I do not know what we do moving forward in this regard.

I don't mind not having a single ground, nor spreading the game, which I mostly agree with, but WT have been too nomadic for a couple of seasons.

A week ago they wrote Inner West Council mayor Darcy Byrne is a step closer to securing a ''once-in-a-generation upgrade'' for Leichhardt Oval after ARL Commission chairman Peter V'Landys pledged to fight for government funding for much-needed renovations.
In news that will be welcomed by every Wests Tigers fan, Byrne received a letter from V'Landys late last week asking him to submit his wish list for Leichhardt Oval.

Having sat in that grandstand for 20 seasons it needs to be demolished its garbage !
Yes I could imagine the club would be so happy to give all game day revenue to a club that wants nothing to do with them .. might as well give Parra leagues the money and play out of a good centrally located stadium !

If you read the article though its obvious Byrne only wants minor upgrades to the ground, which I really don't think that is enough.
