I 100% agree with you regarding the selection of a captain. Who other than Api jumps out as a leader though? There are some junior players that will probably become good leaders down the track but they still have a lot of development in them before needing to be burdened with the big C against their name.

Not 100% with you on that. A guy like Liam Martin pours everything into his footy but captaincy would just be a burden. A captain needs to be willing to do all the BS that comes with it and not have it take away from their performance.

But I am kinda over it. He got 600k instead of the 400 we were giving him. He left us, Spooners for Parramatta, Ante-wooden spooners.

Can we move on from Joffa yet? The forum loves him, heck I thought he was good. But he was a complete part of our downward spiral. ... Less love please.

He was on the downward spiral when we let him go and I haven’t seen anything at Parra to show it was the wrong decision.
We’ve got a couple more like him still at the club, imo, ( Twal/ Klemmer) so hopefully we can recruit well so they can eventually head off as well.

I don’t see how it can be a proper South Pacific championship without Samoa involved, current offering only a token imo.
