What does everyone think? Presumming we do sign him?

I think if he is on a second tier contract he could be a great signing.

He is a good player with plenty of skill and loads of pace, but he's not an organiser, that's my main concern.

He'll be on low dollars though, so it is worth a risk.

He will be a handy player if he stays out of trouble. He should improve the Tigers attack if he gets his chance alongside Benji.

Heres a couple of YouTube links:

I think he is worth the risk assuming we are paying him cheaply.
Not sure if he's the answer in the halves though.
Could be an exciting player to watch.

Definitely worth the risk. He has to be better than what we currently have.

From the video I've seen of him, he looks like a very balanced player with the spark we need to win those tight games. I'm all for it.

If we get him hopefully some of Benji's maturity rubs off on him.

the more I think about the more I agree this could be a good signing.

He isn't the best organiser but that doesn't mean he can't do it. Has great pace and agility. Is an X-Factor.

I'm all for it!

Taumata is definitely worth the risk and is a very smart signing by the club, he would have come cheap and is a pretty classy player.

At least the club is looking outside our juniors, it hasn't happened for a while…

for his sake i hope he can turn around his life off the field.
considering the dramas the nrl has had off the field the tigers should be a pretty good fit for arana to get his life back on track.

could be one of our best signings ever, and if he strays the finger will be pointed at him and not the club having a culture problem.

having true attacking halves along with farah has only been a dream for the last 3 years.
can someone in brisbane go to one of his games and find out if he really is coming to tigertown.

I am all for this signing, hope it is true.

Taumata was expected to sign with us this week. I think that the coaching staff believe that he may be too similar to Lui in the NYC. If this is the case then they will probably hold back.

If we don't sign him this'll probably be the reason why.
