Guys, guys, guys… Everyone settle down. Look outside the square. The club knows what its doing and who is signing with us and who is leaving. They offered fulton and gibbs to the sharks. The money that the sharks offered didnt match their tigers contracts which would have meant tigers would have to top up their deals. Sharks wanted 2 props to replace snowden and douglas. This is where fifita comes in. There is no way we could have matched their offer. Similar to the sandow situation at parra/souths. Now i think tigers will want to keep fulton. Not sure if he will because he is so close to gibbs. All 3 may go. Somebody mentioned heighno at newcastle. Now that makes me sick. Bennett likes him and wanted him at dragons. He almost signed remember??? And patterson already gone... Im nervous bout this one. Blair will sign with us but not at 500k. 350 plus third party.
 
It will be a shame to see Fifita & to a lesser extent Gibbs go to the sharks but if they are going to get a better deal good luck to them.I wish them all the best.
As long as we get Blair & he plays to his potential & with the emergence of Groat ,BMM & an established Woods all will be forgotten in 2012.

Dont be surprised if we sign someone else other than Blair. And we need Blair if Ellis will be heading home after 2012 season.
 
13 pages of angst, name calling, speculation, panic, and everything else… and we're still no closer to finding out whether this is actually going to happen.
 
don't forget footy is a business, and emotion and loyalty does not pay your bills.
money does. put all emotion aside and look at it from a purely financial point of view.

sometimes hard decisions have to be made, to be kept under salary cap.
whilst we do not like them or agree with them, they are required to be made

I for one would not like to see wests-tigers go thru all the stuff storm did, would you ?
if lhaving players move on, ensures that this could not happen, then so be it.
 
Iam sure their is more than one player walking into camp Concord in 2012\. This much upheaval for one player dosnt make sense although we seem to have massive cap issues.

Come kick off in 2012 all will be forgotten and we will be booing Gibbs and Fifita and cheering Blair and who ever!!! I love loyalty but I love a winning football side more!!!!!!!!!
 
its amazing this club won a grand final the worst run club in the league exibhit a wests worst run club in history of the game and balmain come in at average at best this is just proving this point a dogs breakfast on and off the field

If we lose both Fifita and Gibbs, expect Gareth Ellis' move to the front row to be brought forward.

I would have much preferred to keep Fifita over Dywer and allow Ellis to stay in the backrow.
 
I really don't care who stays or goes as long as we get some structure in our forward pack.

Look most experienced commentators don't rate our pack and its been proven that they are not capable of providing the platform for our backs to work off. We need that changed for next year.
 
time for the tigers to put up the dough to keep one of our finest up and comers in years and keep a fifita !

if it means fults and gibbs have to go then thats what needs to be done.

building for the future of the club is what matters most .. KEEP FIFITA !!

also, can those gummy losers from the shire knick off and try to bring through their own u/20's.
