Are we a chance in 2022?

Who do you think will improve for us to do better then last season?
Hastings' competitive attitude will make a bit of difference around the club.
Hoping once we get our full compliment of players on deck towards the middle of the season we can make gains as well. It's all hope really at this stage but I think 11th is about where we are at.
Rua and Taipari showed glimpses tonight, think they could both add a bit of spark to our attack as well coming off the bench.

I still think that we can be competative if we have the right attitude and consistency week in week out...
Also I would like to say ,and this will piss some of you off "we have had horrendous recruitment for years, inhouse fighting for years, coach cutting for years and an old boys club for years...
This is our time to get things right,a mix of talented youth that will develop and some good experience that have had issues over the years,BUT,this could be the mix that comes together and ends up a great fortitude of strength and guts, the thing we have missed for sometime now...
This fridays trial could shed light on how the team has been bonding and how far we have progressed as a team with the mix we have...

I did randomly dream the other night that the tigers were up 6-0 to start the season....

Probably is true if u swap the numbers around

Our best hope seems to be a guy that's barely played at NRL level (Hastings), so I wouldn't be too optimistic. I'm not saying Hastings won't be good, but we've seen it so many times when an unproven guy with big wraps turns out to be just a bit of a plodder. Again, not saying Hastings will be that, I've never seen him play, but I just worry about the amount of people putting huge expectations on him, with many even suggesting he should be captain. This is way over the top. I hope he'll be good too, but sometimes it takes players a year or two to adjust to NRL level, putting aside just moving to a new team with new combinations.

I think we're a chance of making the 8 because half the teams make it, but I wouldn't be surprised if we don't.

Hastings has class and as far as football goes, so did his father. Both are and were tough.

I agree, Hastings will drive this team, unlike Brooks.
Hopefully Brooks doesn’t leave his payslip lying around, it’s not nice covering someone else’s job when they are remunerated far in excess of yourself.
I hope we had a few big boppers hiding back in the dressing room - we looked like midgets up against Manly.

We've been let down so often I understand your frustrations mate,
I'm over wasting brain cells over Brooks.
Just try and look at the positives.
Straight after the first trial a lot of WTF members were after blood.
I was bored and watched again and saw that in the main game [1st half] we actually were solid in 'D' and should gave led at the break. So I said hang on guys, we were ok.
The point is, just because we've had a terrible recent history, dont go looking for the bad stuff because youll miss the good stuff and be miserable,
enjoy this crazy game.

Our Season will depend how we go in the 1st 5 games.
Storm,Knights,Warriors,Titans,Sharks.
Win 4+ and it will give us confidence we can compete for a Top 8 spot.
Win 3 - Struggle to maintain grip with the 8 long term with harder games.
Win 2 or less - Its going to be a long season.
We should be able to do better than 13th hopefully and getting thrashed by 38 - 0 as per the last game against the spooners from last season.

all depends if the forwards muscle up,saw good signs that the structure was more competitive, but .just a few trial games.

Join me in the Hype for Hastings, BUT he will only produce if we are on the front foot.
Want to see big wind up runs from Stef, Lucy and Musgrove to give our halves some room to strut their stuff
