Are we a well coached side?

As Benji said in his last presser, "we all have to do better."

Could that mean AI is brought in to help analyze performance?
(I read that Major League Baseball (MLB) is using AI to help teams make better decisions about player personnel; and the National Basketball Association (NBA) is using AI to improve its scouting process.)

It's a weird world.

Stevie Wonder could do a better job in my opinion.

Players appear to be lacking basic skills which is required for NRL level.

About time we stop giving players other successful clubs reject a starting position in the top 17.

I bet Api wishes he could rejoin Penrith at the moment to get another ring. One of the only bright lights this season and he deserves so much more

Five simple wishes for Benji & his new coaching staff for our attack ....

1. Quick play the balls to build momentum with forwards hitting the ball at the advantage line
2. Deep backlines with backrowers running from deep to hit a hole or run a decoy
3. Halfback, 5/8 & Lock engaging the line at speed before passing to players running forward
4. Fullback doing the sweep in the deep backline
5. Look for offloads to create for 2nd phase play

The team needs a sports psychologist too. Maybe a fleet of them? I don't know how often Tigers teams have snatched defeat from the jaws of victory over the last decade. The Tigers have always had a soft mental game.

If a strong opposition scores early, their heads drop and the floodgates open. Slightly improved this year with a terrible exception. They give up on chases and don't bother backing up.

If there's a crunch match, you can be sure it will be a poor performance - like those years when we came 9th and we'd need to win the final round, and we'd always get flogged.

If they do win, they get big heads and put in a far worse performance the next week. The good performers will talk to the media about themselves instead of deflecting praise to the team and just focusing on the next match, like top players do.

If WT start favourites, chances are they will lose. If not for Api's sheer determination to drag the team over the line, they would have lost to a hugely understrength Dolphins too.

It all reeks of insecurity and a lack of confidence whenever the stakes rise.

Too much interference from Pascoe/ Lee in the last two seasons to expect the side to look like it has been coached well. Sacked Maguire midseason, interim Kimmorley, appointed Sheens cause they couldnt get who they wanted, sack his recruitment manager and announce Fulton, Sheens walks, Benji takes over - two spoons on the back of it is it any wonder!
No it shouldn’t surprise anyone that we’re hot favourites for a third spoon.
WT is living on Fun to See Island, where the little guy excitedly runs down to the jetty shouting boss! da plan, da plan, da plan is coming.. Pascoe strolls down, stares intently into the sky and says..mm? It’s way ahead of schedule, it must be the 5 year plan.
