Are we right in the head?

Not nessasary Yoss… 10 - 0 up and Lyon doesn't bother taking the 2 points before halftime. That's your 4 points difference?!

Lyon takes the kick at goal because there was no time left. **Almost certainly would have taken the shot even Manly were 0-10 down**.

I highly doubt that.

Hey guys it's only round 2 and u don't win grand finals this early in the year just relax

It was a see sawing close game.
Five more minutes would probably have seen a Tigers win. The players do seem to nod off when they are ahead.
Why is that?

maybe they dont believe in God?

Has anyone ever seen this team realy get it together before July? I realy don't think we were as bad as some of you are making out. We made critical mistakes sure, but we could still have easily one that one tonight. I'm pretty confident we'll beat the Steelers next week. Hopefully the british bulldog pulls up ok

When the Wests Tigers lose game I usually have two quotes:

1) "No matter what the result is as long as they don't get smashed, I am happy."

2) "You can't win them all."

anyway, i love my team, i just thought we'd transcend ourselves this season, thats all. when we beat the dragons everything will be back to normal.

They were 40 out with no time left. Taking 2 points was the obvious option. If they took the tap or kicked for the line they'd have one play.

No I don't think we're right in the head, I'm quite frankly sick of seeing kicks on the 3rd tackle, even the 4th when we're trying to play catch up footy.

At times they're still trying to score off every set, when they should be applying more pressure and be more patient.

Round 2 and the same problems remain…. I thought we played ok last night in major patches but we really need a leader to hold the team together and drive the team ! We have to many cooks what is needed is a chef to take control this is whats missing IMO.

I totally agree that we took the right option going for 2 to go to 8/0 and then to go for the 6\. But the high risk kick on the 3rd tackle was bad judgement. Surely sheens has taught them to grind it out. The playmakers don't get enough discipline from the coach. Manly had no other option than go for the 2 just before half time. Patience is what the team needs to be taught. When will they ever learn?

Why did we kick it on the 3rd after the penalty….just askin

this is the poor decision.
and this is the problem i have with players saying we learnt something from previous losses.
they clearly don't.

i actually wanted us to take the 2 points though.
i wanted to see the message we were willing to tough it out for 80mins.
instead we tried to go for a cheap 6.

It would help if we had players who didn't kick every grubber over the dead ball line. If we forced a line drop out it would be less of an issue.

Im well aware of the circumstances yoss….tell me the last time you saw a team take a shot 0-10 down.
Theyd go for touch then hoist it up fo sho

i agree with yoss they would have taken the only points that were on offer which was 2.

Yes a repeat set of 6 would be nice.

We'll have to disagree on this. I think they still would have taken the shot.

it doesn't matter what you thought might happen if we had kicked the goal.
history would have been changed.
if we kick the goal we get the ball back.
manly would not have got the ball back and the game plays out like the first instance.
we could of coughed up the ball on the restart and manly score a try.

we have no idea what would have happened if we kicked the goal to go up 10-0.

Correct good Sir Mentally the difference between chasing 8 and chasing 10 is very different

Is that aimed at me?

You'd take a tap with no time left in the half with a minimal chance to score but pass up the almost certain chance to get your first points and go in 2-10?
