Really Congratulations everyone who took part..played in great spirit all they way..

Like the 1st one it was quite enjoyable seeing everyone picking their teams..the number of times people went damn ..I was going to pick him shows how competitive it was..

Great Era of Rugby League too...Quality players all round..

Oh and I finished above happy yet again...keep trying young fella...

Good game. Thanks for organising Geo and thanks everyone for playing.

I really liked this one as you had to stretch the memory a bit to recall players and it brought back some memories of watching the games back then. Was a great period of Rugby League shame about the whole super league thing that stop all of the momentum.

I’m surprised I came out on top as I felt I was really stretching for players with my last few picks but a few did much better than expected.

This is not a priority at all just something to pass the time when a lot are in isolation ..Work Family always come 1st @Fade-To-Black ..if things take a few extra days big deal...

Sooooo..

The next one will be ALL STARS..50 years of Rugby League 1970 to present...this will eliminate the flopping into an era...the only stipulation if players from the 60's are picked they must have at least played 4 Seasons in the 70's either 1970-73 or some combination...

That opens it right up and would be quite interesting I think to see peoples thoughts on how the players from the past stack up against the modern day player..

Also the 80's was also a great decade of RL..so they would also now be included and the 70's was just a bloodbath..tough uncompromising player even the wingers..

So if you are interested post in this thread..if enough I'll get it up and running..

Re your first paragraph: yep I know it's just a fun thing to do but it's always good to keep it rolling steadily if possible, waiting 12 hours for me to cast the last vote would be annoying! Will try to get in on the voting a bit earlier in the piece👍
