That was interesting ..the weak spot of the 90's is clearly the hooking position couple of stand outs then mixed in between..

Players were selected that really weren't specialist hookers ..also found like earlier in the comp with players who flopped into the era but this time in reverse with players like Buderus and Priddis who had just began their careers and spent there 1st 2 seasons basically coming off the bench playing anywhere but hooker rating very well..

Then there's Royce who's 11 games were great scoring 2 TRIES in a Grand Final..Rest of the decade spent buying everyone Beers...

Oh and we solved the age old question Steve Walters better than Benny..just..

Hooker was tough ..Geo and I talked about it last night ....if you went through the eras from the 70's to now the 90's and hookers ...you had 4-5 standouts and then it dropped off dramatically ....it was when the role of hooker changed dramatically as well so I wonder if that was the reason
