As a Tigers tragic, it hurts seeing this

Not sure it hurts too much for me seeing RF in other colours. Will always be a great player and pribably in the top 3 for the short WT history. But life goes on.

He has probably left a sour taste with many fans because of the carry on last year. Just read a thing about the Knights legend cult figure Uate. Dumped to reggies last year, big contract, moved on this year with part payment for contract and you don't hear a whimper. No whinging manager, no threats, no final farewell, no 'right' to play a certain number of games, no nothing. And his ex coach who dumped him is not a knob.

Makes you wonder why others can do it, but we couldnt. Very, very similar circumstances. Cant help thinking ego played a huge role for one of the unwanted.

Ah well, wish RF well for all games except Rd 1.

But there may have been a few episodes before the attempted move on that cause bad blood between our coach and captain - these were not initiated by the captain and were unnecessary. The coach preached defence but did little to improve it and/or the results did not occur - whereas the captain never let the captaincy position down on the field. It has been a full season but I can't envisage any competent captain on the horizon yet.

The captain did let his captaincy position down off the field and that was his downfall. He should have stuck to where his talent lay, playing football.

Him and his mate Sammy remind me of a guy that just got divorced, and goes and gets a bulldozer and ploughs through the ex-wife's house.

Speaking of that game, i find it bitterly disappointing that Souths take a home game to Ctown and no one bats an eyelid. To me that's the bigger talking point out of tonight than Farah putting on a jersey we've known he's going to wear for months.

I thought I also read somewhere the Tigers season launch is at the Rocks ? Why not out where the supporter base is ?

I'm with you Muffstar, but wherever they held it some people would have a problem with it because our area is so wide.

It's more of a corporate event rather than something for the every-day fans, hence the corporate-esque venue.

I'm sure Weedler will have an exclusive interview with him in the lead up to round 1 about how awful he had it the last 2 years. You can see it coming a million miles away.

Might help some people who can't seem to get over it

He will always be a club legend and I reckon all the fan base will love him again sometime after his career is finished.

Moving Forward!!!

Club legend but he's gone. Reminds me of Timmy Brasher, can't ever take away what he did for the club but I got over it pretty quickly.

Wests Campbelltown supporting Souths offering free game entry to its members if they bought a souths membership is another sad state of affairs
That said, Ive never had anything to do with the area bar going there a few times a year for footy

Wow, talk about hitting below the belt. Typical South's I reckon. And Farah would have loved their filthy little scheme .

Yeah, that's pretty much how i feel with all good / great / legends etc..that have left, except Benji, always makes me sad when i think of him playing elsewhere.
