The fact that Farah holds a grudge adds to the excitement of round 1 for me

Yep.

Someones going to come away with bragging rights, I hope it's us.

I actually am starting to hope he does have a blinder and we still best them.

I just want to beat the buggers, but as always, we can often tend to drop the ball a lot in the early rounds so if our completions against Souths are poor, their forwards will run over us.

I honestly think that Souths will come back this year, not because RF is playing with them, but because they have a reasonably good side, coach and a game that completely whitewashes other teams..by that I mean just as you think you have got them where you want them..they come up with some great plays that leave other teams in their wake….I don't care about Souths one iouta, but I wont underestimate them either...

Seems plenty applaud Teo on here for holding a grudge against Wiedler and the DT !
Instead of bagging Farah for holding a grudge maybe some of you should be heeding your own advice.

Telltails,
every second poster here has a bagful of grudges squirrelledaway, ranging from the previously mentioned DTT, Danny Weilder, Buzz, anyone who has ever read the DDT, referees, Referees 's Wives, Gus, Ray Warren, The ch9 commentary team, Fox's commentary team. Sam Ayoub. And The manager of any player who is yet unsigned

Also Marty Taupau, and anyone one who has ever left the WTs, as well as Anyone whose considering leaving in the future. JT's Valet and car washer. Venus Williams for being scarier than our whole forward pack combined,
Inks Dog. Yes, he has one , he mentioned it just a few posts back. ( I think he's called RF.) , Pies, Tin Hats, Tim Sheens, Darius Boyd and Dad Wayne.(That onedoesn't count as everyone has a grudge against Wayne)

We , here , are a cesspit of grudges, except for you amd I Telltails.
We bring a ray of Sunshine and Class and Fairness to this otherwise cultureless barren wasteland of grudges
It's an unappreciated job, but who else could do it??????
(Possibly Col.)

Thanks GCT - I'm ready to duck for cover.

Never fear, just keep the TinFoil hats nearby..0ne day they'll realise the value of our contribution. It might take a little while though. :frowning:[/quote}

deadest you guys should consider giving LIFELINE a call, they could help..or maybe not…

Made a comment on Twitter about the charity shield being the first trophy he's won in a while.

Yep, you seem totally over it Robbie….

He tweeted this himself?

Serious?

Even posted a pic on insagram…

Would be great to see him break an even longer trophy drought this year. Lifting the intrust cup in a North Sydney jersey will be a great media spectacle.

I can assure you TT it won't be necessary.

His gone and we still pay his wages but it's without doubt the best thing that could have happened to the club. Funny thing we get off to a bad start and JT will be gone.

Robbie, Robbie, Robbie you're not very smart are you? Allowing your manager to use the suicide of prop Mosese Fotuaika to try and discredit the club was disgusting. Enjoy your life wherever it takes you because you will never be back here.

As a Wests Tigers tragic it hurt seeing all the disruption over the years. No player is bigger than the team. Seeing him in green and red stripes is worth every dollar we're still paying him.

If it is true that he was being forced to play in a position that would have further damaged his already-broken hand than it was not him causing the toxicity. Maybe someone else should have been sacked that day.

The Club credibility could be questioned when they allow their coach to attempt to force an injured player to play in a position that could further damage his broken hand. The players are not WW1 cannon fodder.

Later edit: I meant to qualify by if this in fact took place.

I've seen this theory raised a few times. Have I missed Robbie claiming this (I'm sure he would if it was true), or is it another tinfoil hat conspiracy?

It's an especially strange claim as hookers make more tackles than second rowers, so how would it be damaging his hand? I suspect a dented ego was more the case.

My recollection is of him addressing it later in the year and was something along the lines of Farah saying that he refused to on the basis that he would struggle defending at centre because of injury.

Last season showed that a lot of injuries seem to occur at that level, so doubt it.

The truth probably lies somewhere in between. My problem is with those who believe every negative thing ever written or reported about Farah as being gospel, and yet at the same time denounce everything else written about WTs from the same sources as being baseless, or without fact, or issued with some
vendetta with the club.
I have always tried to judge Farah by his performances on the field which for most part were up there with our best players. Don't care about whether
he has an ego or not- most good players do - and while its fair to say he made some poor choices talking to Tallis being one of them - the club has to
own the salary cap problems they created which
resulted in dividing the fans, disrupting two seasons and is the real reason why we have been unable to
reach success on the field. .
The fans love having some one to blame. Last year JT and Farah shared the mantle - the big problem has
always been with management and the lack of funds
and facilities to attract quality players and coaching
staff. Whether you remove Farah or Taylor not much
will change unless we can compete in the market with other clubs in all areas. They keep telling us next year!

You're right and part of the conversation with the trainer Was picked up by a microphone .
. And it was quite reasonable to be able to be more use in the middle rather than centre ,as he could at least get his body in front of a forward in close, whereas he could be stepped or ran around a lot easier one on one by a centre ( as JTs Other master stroke of putting Lovett in the centres showed ).

What does he mean by: Good final hit out today and good to get off the nudie with a meaty? Is there AO connotations?

Meaty = meat pie = try.

Got off the yearly nude run by getting a try early on in the piece.

One thing everyone now seems to agree on is that RF refused to follow the coaches instructions in that game.

And poor old Kyle Lovett has had to carry the burden of his defensive issues for this game ever since. I think Farah was the proper choice at the time seeing that he has played and defended in the halves previously. The broken hand argument is a nonsense considering RF stayed in the middle of the field anyway.

don't tell RF that - now he will repeat the performance in the first real game

I agree completely you on this one. I don't care much what happens off field. RF is an intense person that benefits us on the field but we must expect the same intensity if he is under threat off the field re contracts etc.. After that last Raiders game unfortunately we had no one to make them walk on egg shells.

Souths and Saints class the Charity Shield as their GF

Save Faf the embarrassment of a nudie run , he'll only go under the fence anyway
