As a Tigers tragic, it hurts seeing this

THERE is a culture change happening at the Wests Tigers, one of stability, harmony and a steady climb up the ladder as seen last year…as far as toxicity goes,it now has moved to REDFERN where it belongs....

Also forgot to mention that RF has found he likes rugby league since his move because all he has to do is work hard and play football….he should have done that at the Tigers and not let himself get involved with club politics or things that did not concern him...would probably still be here if he played football and worked hard for the team(which he was good at showing when the media showed up)it was the behind the scenes crap that let him down...OH and running through holes in the fence instead of facing up ......

For the 1000th time…where is your evidence of this?

Seeing him running around in the ISP at Leichhardt and then a shot of him in a bunnies jersey is enough for me, with prior circumstantial evidence over the years to back it up. That WT are happy to pay a hell of a lot of freight to have him play against them also gives weight to it being much more than just a performance issue.

Of course it could all have been pies flying in the sky with pigs, but that is way more preposterous when I can only recall one denial, and a fleeting one/lie at that, in the wake of his manager's outburst on radio.

Apart from the supposed comments of Rod Reddy for which he was later asked to fall on his sword, I doubt anyone can honestly say that the club handled it badly as they were very courteous, gave him a second chance and did not bad mouth him, even in the face of threats.

He has gone now and I wish him no ill, but will no longer support him on the field.

I thought we were not bringing up the old stuff. Farah stills vehemently denies sabotaging coaches so the jury could and should still be out on that one.

I wonder who they are going to dub toxic, if or when it's discovered that nothing has changed In the so called "culture "of the club.
No Farah to conveniently blame now.

Robbie always went well when forwards doing the hard metres. They were just rolling St George up the middle.
They look like a good team regardless of Farah and I think Rd 1 might be tough.

Well said. Any hooker should go well behind that pack. I hope RF goes well, but that won't prove he was right or wrong. It won't prove JT was right or wrong. Both WT and RF will benefit for different reasons, so let's move on.

I hope he has a shocker in Rd 1, and then plays well the whole year.

So the Souths team that a lot here have been slagging off at every opportunity is now a good team, and "any hooker "would go well behind their pack.
Is this the team that finished behind us last year.
Seems like some are lining up some excuses in case Farah kills it this year.
Good to be prepared, just in case.

Im sure theyre having a bit of fun over on L.U. with that

He is with a new employer, towing the company line and getting his face out there as much as possible to promote his new club, getting them new fans or getting those that may have **lost interest** back in the swing and if those comments are about us then so be it, cause winners are grinners!

Lets hope our boys can do better than the bunnies this season and come the end of round 26 we are higher up the ladder than them and hopefully playing in the finals!

I wish RF all the best and i wish our boys even better (yeah even JT)! :sign:

I think their backs will let them down, ive never said they were a good team. But seriously, jump off the anger wagon and tell me seriosuly that that isnt a quality big strong pack.

As i said, i hope he plays well. Am i lining up in case he kills it? Nope. I expect him to do well. His 'killing it' days are behind him, regardless of whether he stayed or not.

But he isnt the centre of our universe anymore, he is someone elses.

Good on him and I hope he has a stellar year with the Bunnies. I have only respect and appreciation for what he gave to the Tigers. A club legend through and through.

Didn't see the game but a mate texted me this, "Apparently RF was MOM in the Charity Shield" ..anyone watch it?

No he wasn't the MOM - but the way Ennis, and the other commentators carried on you would think he had just been voted the golden boot winner for this year and every year from now on - it was embarrassing. Cook showed far more attacking skills and Souths looked a better side when he was on - it was interesting that they both played the last 15 or so mins - i'm guessing whoever misses the starting spot may get a bench spot.

Rubbish - any side in the NRL would have thumped Saints on that performance - they were woeful - nothing in attack and some very ordinary defensive lapses. I feel sorry for a guy like Frizell who really rips in to only see a pedestrian backline fumble there way through the game.

I don't think their pack looks that good on paper. I imagine it will be something like:

8\. T Burgess
9\. R Farah
10\. R Rochow
11\. J Sutton
12\. K Turner
13\. S Burgess

14\. D Cook
15\. G Burgess
16\. J Clark
17\. Z Musgrove

If it is then their second row won't often much penetration. Their starting props will be fine and Sam Burgess will reliably punch out big metres all game but their bench props look suspect (given the form of George Burgess last season). I think our pack offers better depth, we just lack a player with the line-breaking and offloading abilities of Sam Burgess.

Yes I can see the headline in tomorrows paper "ROBBIE ADMITS TO BEING THE REASON BEHIND SHEENS AND POTTER SACKING"
Must be good weed up Byron Bay way.

I'm not angry, just amused by the constant unloading on him as being toxic etc, when he was probably one of the very few who could be relied to put in 100 % in every game he played, there's quite a lot of plodders over the the years who can't say that.
I think that their pack is good when they are intact , and it will be improved by having Farah involved . Hopefully he will have a good year and will appreciate having some hard , fast forwards to run off him.

We'll we don't have any worries about round one. Do we?

If we can stop the Burgis from getting a roll on we should be able to stop whatever Farah has to offer

Farah will spend half the game looking at the refs with his hands in the air wanting penalties

Jesse / Ava your single role v Souths , iron out Farah legally

I agree Nelson. People are still rating Souths on 2014 form. They've been crap from mid 2015\. They got nothing and if Farah is instrumental in reversing their form then good on him. He'll deserve any wraps he gets.
I can't see them having a good year despite last week's form.

I did notice Farah unsuccessfully tying to push cook out of dummy half at one stage then sprinting to make sure he was there first for the next play the ball.
Good luck with that Madge.

Yes he did give 100% most of the time, and I don't think anyone is arguing that.
It's just all the crap that followed when he left that got me off side with him.
