I heard a British journalist say this morning when asked why did she retire and said, ”a player knows when you can't give it your all anymore and that's when you retire”

She retired under her terms, did most achievements in the game and was at her peak when she called it quits.
She could gave played on and won more majors.
What is her reasoning. None of our business!
She probably wants to start a family, commentary, coaching.
Again, she will tell us when she works it out.
Professional tennis leaves a player with little time to smell the roses because it's a sport played all over the world.
To travel, train and be that good and continually win is a true reflection of the type of Aussie she is.... a true blue, fair dimkum real bewdy [beauty] girl. 🤜🤛😚👏

I think she did say she doesn't have to drive and commitment to want to keep doing it.
