A bit negative but what happens if we aren't able to make the top 8 for 1-2 years more.

Do we start from scratch again, are there thoughts of merging with another team, has the NRL spoken to us about our failures?

Bar results, we are in a very strong position, couldn’t see any merger coming, why would the NRL speak to us about “failure”? What failure, no offence but that is crazy talk, it’s a 16 team competition where someone will win and someone will lose, we are middle of the road atm, that’s what salary cap does, do you think we will stay there? what about teams who have never won the comp?

What failure you ask??
With that attitude you'll be next fan invited onto the 'pat the boss on the back' segment.

Maybe I will get asked on then.

I'm enjoying the club initiative to communicate better with us.

There is absolute genuine intent from club management to not only increase membership but to engage current members in a more proactive way. The club wants membership to be special, valued and desired. They are absolutely listening to the fan base. Good on them I say.

But you get to see them extending Zane Musgrove for 4 years. #greatmomentsinhistory

In fairness, I had a chuckle at that, the big fella couldn’t be happy with the ‘elite’ package after watching Russ leave at half time.

Here’s a tip. Don’t expect this member to travel a distance to the Roosters home ground again to watch us put up an inept display against a team on living away from home allowance full of blow-ins, effectively killing off our season.

Explain that one please Mr Pascoe.

That's all good Steve, but they call it 'ask the boss' then only answer the questions that have a feel good answer.
Fans that are getting the face time with management are getting the good oil but not the general fan base.

Agree, but does anyone seriously suggest that they will answer all questions? Let alone insipid or confidential ones?
Pascoe deserves credit for the direction we are heading, which I believe will see us become one of the top clubs in the not to distant future.

WESTS TIGERS
Suprised there hasnt been a thread yet…

Moneyball…speed and leadership.

Ask the Boss: Episode 3
Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe is joined by Elite Member John MacDonagh to discuss the latest on the recruitment and retention front as well as an update on the club's Membership heading in to the new year

https://www.weststigers.com.au/news/2020/12/14/ask-the-boss-episode-3/?fbclid=IwAR2D9v5Q6xI59fi2PchaRw0Tps2aoYLQgY5WOX3HAkRMdzm8immMmXGhR3g

I liked the first two but not a fan of this one. I don't really need to hear from members about things. I'd rather just hear from Pascoe/Madge/Hartigan.

An attempt to try and sell more elite membership packages perhaps

Well i loved today segment and it got me on the membership page looking st upgrading my membership.

These segments are meh. The only thing I took out of this week's episode is Pascoe hasn't learnt to hide contracts from his desk.

No, I said from day 1 they will only answer the easy ones. People seem to be getting upset by that comment.

Fair call

Just a genuine question to those that haven't liked these episodes, do other clubs do this? Are they putting out weekly episodes from the CEO or other high profile people at the club?

I genuinely don't know the answers but think what the club has done with this is a step in the right direction and is an attempt to engage with the fanbase.

I agree that this one wasn't as interesting as the previous 2, especially the one with Hartigan as it will good to hear about our processes for recruitment and retention, but I think it was done to try and convey how important the club values memberships. Having a member as a guest is to me an effort to show that memberships are valued as much as other parts of the club. If I was trying to build membership in a club I would be trying to embed it in all aspects of the club and have it as visible as possible, I think this was an effort to do that.

Ask him to answer the tough questions. Transparency isn't just pulling the curtain back an inch.
