That would be a great idea …Payten is struggling to motivate boys or hasn't anybody noticed...Kidman yes but Payten just another job for the boys !at this stage a very poor selection of assistant coach IMO as there are better options out there.

Its not exactly that dire.
Plenty of boys have been moved on, if Payten had to coach Farah/Fulton/Galloway/Lawrence it wouldn't be the end of the world. Certainly not like Nathan Brown trying to coach practically all the Dragons boys he played with.
It comes down to the man, if Payten earns and commands respect, he will get it whether he played with them or not.
