Asu Kepaoa #236

Everyone was rinsing AJ because
his eyesight was poor and he dropped
balls. That man came back from
knee reco and a torn pec muscle.
Still looked better than some outside
backs last year. He got waved/traded to us when SBW rejoined the roosters, Christian Tuipolotu was still at the roosters at that stage but we picked AJ for good reason. Quick and strong. He's a sleeper,
his name doesn't come up as much
as some others when it
comes to who will improve in '23 but I think he'll be up there somewhere for sure.
He's a big body. Rather a big centre to be honest. Defensively anyway.

Also, what's the go with the "OFFICIAL" bit in the thread title, is it like the blue tick on Musk's platform that anyone who wants to fill his pockets can get, or is there some real meaning?
Yeh I must admit it looks a bit overwhelming doesn't it. Might scrub it.
It was intended to make it official meaning a dedicated thread for a player who is in the top 30 and who has debuted. I'll get rid of it.

One of the worst things I saw was when Warbrick scored his 4th try and Asu ran out of the line. The pass beat him which is fine but Warbrick was still 20m away from the try line and Asu just put his head down and stopped. Didn't even jog towards the threat, forget run. This is the mentality of a loser team. Bet he doesn't do that under Bellamy

He should not be in the side, for now Toa and Naden should be first choice centres.

Looked pretty good as a Backrower.
Shows glimpses of being decent in attack, but more often than not he makes very simple mistakes with ball in hand.
His defence out wide has been very poor on multiple occasions this season. Not sure why anyone at the club views him as an outside back.I guess we’re pretty thin in that department.
Should of been played as a second row in cup all year, waiting to cover any injuries,

Just need to end the experiment altogether. The horse is dead.

He cussed me out but we settled our issues,
He's a good guy I like him. Don't want 2 drag him.
He has a bit going on in his personal life, he's
got really good taste in music too, that's all I got
