Top 50 finishes for all 3 Aussie Marathon Women!

Returning to hot and humid conditions in Tokyo, Australia’s three marathon runners have conquered the world stage.

Vanessa Wilson led the way with 38th and a season’s best of 2:39:17, Sarah Klein finished in 42nd (2:41:46), while Tara Palm secured 48th in 2:44:51.

Henderson and McMillen surge through the streets of Tokyo.

Rebecca Henderson has returned to #Tokyo2025 in style to claim 21st (1:31:05) in the Women's 20km Race Walks.

Elizabeth McMillen crossed in 1:34:58 for 33rd, while West Aussie Alexandra Griffin sustained an injury early in the race and had to retire.

Camryn Newton-Smith and Tori West have capped off a massive two days of competition in the Women's Heptathlon.
Newton-Smith finishes 16th (5,925 points) and West claims 17th (5,778 points).

History makers Davies & Hall deliver stellar 5000m runs.

Australia never had two women in the World Championship 5000m Final before tonight, and Rose Davies and Linden Hall did not disappoint.

Equaling the country's highest finish at the World Championships, Davies placed 10th (15:03.61) and Hall just behind in 11th (15:04.03).

Heartbreak for the Aussies.

After setting a new Oceania Record in the men's 4x400m relay, the team has been disqualified after Aidan Murphy was outside of the changeover mark when he took the baton.

The relay team of Cooper Sherman, Reece Holder, Aidan Murphy and Thomas Reynolds had qualified for the final with a 2:58.00 run, finishing in third place in their heat, but will now miss the final.

After crossing the line with a blistering finish, the Men were disqualified and have been unsuccessful with their appeal.
