Reigning world champion Matt Hauser has ignited his 2026 triathlon campaign in brilliant style by winning the Hamburg WTCS event for a third consecutive year.
In sweltering conditions, the Australian star clocked the fastest closing 5km run of the day at 14m18s to claim victory on Saturday, holding off series leader Vasco Vilaca of Portugal by three seconds, with Germany's Henry Graf a further five seconds back.
