Auckland nines

Speaking of which - when are we naming our team?

I'd imagine after these trials, but other teams have named their squad already…

simona/brooks highly unlikely to play so bookies raised prices, seems logical. I was saying before we were very overpriced given they weren't playing, so having us around 4-5th in odds seems aboutttt right.

When are we going to name a squad ??Some squads were named a week ago

Potter is making Sheens look like Speedy Gonzalez when it comes to naming sides in a timely fashion

the comp is a week away. if he hasnt named one by tuesday evening you can start complaining. im sure performances tonight also influenced his choices a bit.
 
I am sure Potter and the players know who is in the team and who isn't at this late stage.
That's one thing I don't like about Potter the old school mind games he plays.
It's 2014 Potts.
On what i saw tonight Moses and Austin will be in the Auckland nines.

I wouldn't be playing robbie til the next trial as he said last night at Camden he has only been back training for 3 weeks and has a hamy twinge . Don't need anymore injuries to our number 9s

Absolutely right! Only 4 teams have officially announced their teams, so just relax and be patient.

Players would've been informed already and just makes sense to wait until after the trial.

He did what most coaches would do in trial matches, give everyone a run and see how they fare.

Fair dinkum Irvine, did Potter bed your missus? He could lead us to an undefeated season, win the GF 100-0, cure cancer & end hunger and you'd still find fault in him.

Why do you always end your comments with …PL ? That's even more annoying than Potter.

The opening ceremony is on Friday so they would have to be leaving say Thursday morning...it's now Sunday.
Just announce the team..You know who's going and who's not.
Why do we always have to be last in announcing our teams.

In regards to Tuesday team announcements, the NRL mandates, and also incentivises, clubs to have a certain amount of digital content - both video and photo - on their websites. The way the Tigers do it, they integrate player sponsors in the announcement video, the same way the team is read out on game day. For sponsors, this is extra exposure for which the club gains extra revenue from.

Basically, the Tigers digital team spend Tuesday afternoon putting together the announcement video to not only ensure the club meets their requirements from the NRL, but to please sponsors as well. If you want to point a finger, point it to the video editors, not at the coach.
 
To be fair only Newcastle, Cronulla, New Zealand and Canberra have named their squads. I'm happy with Potter waiting til after the first hit out to name his squad.

Fair enough Alex.. thanks for that. I guess we can wait if it means extra money for the club.
Blocker on 2GB already thinks the nines team has been made official saying Moses Austin and Woods are part of the team.
 
All teams will be announced by 5pm Tues.
Fair dinkum there are some petty people here…the team will have have a recovery session I assume today from yesterdays trial...they will assess minor and major injuries...some people realy dont think before posting

been to the website and theres nothing ??

also has anbody gotten arround the issue of hdm1 cord to ipad to tele
