Maybe we could of rugged the lil darlings up in raincoats, jodhpurs and wellies and sent them out into the RAIN? Cups of tea in fine China or fluffy drinks with umbrellas in them perhaps?? WHAT A DISGRACE. Embarrassing for our code when all is said and done. Hope it isn't TOO SUNNY on Sunday or heaven forbid a light zephyr passes over the field. Little children play RL in far worse conditions every weekend across the country. This will take some living-down from AFL and soccer. Shameful situation. Who cares if there are only a handful of spectators there watching? The NRL just doesn't want to lose all their revenue by having to refund people who brought tickets to the game. That is the bottom line. Postponed due to player safety?? What a load.

Well FTB is heading into NSW as we speak

I'll show some class and hope that none of your friends or family are affected by this

You have to weigh everything up , possibly losing power , having thousands of people in an area that floods quite easily , it is basically in a bowl , everything flows down towards Suncorp

so you are agreeing with my post in the other thread… terrible town planning, and somehow its mother natures fault. Obviously incapable of hosting a world class event, even by your own measures.

Its a combination of things B n W , you don't seem to understand that the absolute worst of all this would of been over Brisbane when the game started

I have always been told that its not good fishing when its been raining, even a few days later, all the silt muddies the waterways… though I have been trolling all night, and been getting plenty of good bites.

Watch out Rex Hunt.

I hope people are just taking the piss with some of these comments. Hard to tell tone on here.

It is hard to tell. Still its ridiculous and childish to turn it into a state thing, just immature and unnecessary even.

Will be good when the Round 9 kicks off and this forum reverts to some sort of normality.

I turned it on late and wondered what had happened. I thought maybe it was like the cricket, we just won it early!

And not just Qlders , NSW WT's forum members have family that are flooded in as well not far from Happy actually

Hope your family is all well Tackleberry and still not flooded in

IF u live in a tip, fair enough cop it sweet,no hard feelings.Hope you are all going good in QLD. Will have to say you guys are very lippy when you are on the winning streak bit quick to seek mercy when the shoe is on the other foot. Sad really. Stay safe. Stay out ta the rain of that's an issue. Still was a pathetic reason to postpone a Test. The Diggers would be ashamed. Yipppy yippy yo

Iam just as disappointed as everyone else that we didn't see the test last night, however, football aside why don't we all show a little compassion for our QLDer brothers and sisters that are suffering through this terrible force of nature..after all we a sports fanatics at times but we are also a generous people,a lot of NSW SES workers have gone to Qld to help distraught people…it is only a game and I would rather people be safe and with their families alive and well...we can always celebrate a win some other time...cheers people....

Where still on a winning streak… We saw through the rort NSWRL pulled off last year 'for the good of the game' and will clean sweep you this year.

That's the real reason the NRL postponed the Test Match... They realised City Country is only a reserve grade trial, and thought it best to play Queenslands trial against NZ as the main game!

Opened this thread fully expecting the old interstate toing and froing that is so past its use by date it makes old moldy cheese look perfectly edible. Argue about something a bit more original fellas.
