Australia Day 2025

I’m not calling people on the left scum…pussies maybe…
I’m pointing directly at this rent a crowd full of professional protesters.
ahhhh the good old days.
Guys don't know your ages but talking about serial pests when I was in my late teens there was scum that used to hang around train stations called sharps (some with skinheads some not and wearing just the one earing), me and a mate were chased by 10 of the heroes from West Ryde TS to Top Ryde one night we were fit soccer players and they gave up luckily otherwise I'm sure I would be baring the scars today.

If they wear wearing earings than getting bashed was the least of your problems.

They were nasty A holes T the worst spot for them was Townhall TS in the city word has it that they bashed an off duty cop there one night and within 1 week they had disappeared, guessing battens and fists were used hey.

Very funny. I see you’ve moved on from general racism to inciting violence. This is the language of Convicted Rapist and Felon Donald Convicted Rapist and Felon Donald Trump. What a low life.
Glad you've got a sense of humour. 🤣

Likely.
We used to have local cops growing up that would hit/punch you if you consistently caused trouble, rather than haul you in front of the courts. They were ever present and respected/feared.
It mostly worked until the mandates for revenue raising...i.e. highway patrol became fashionable. Cops were less visible and the trouble rose.

People here are so quick to criticise those peacefully protesting but zero mentions of the neo-nazis parading the streets.
The ones who were arrested? I think they recieved adequated coverage for being the losers that they are.
Far more than the overwight, greenhaired pro-noun lovers who burnt flags and called for the deaths of political and community leaders both here and abroad.

So true, surely they can see that the old ways worked to many do-gooders around to prevent it these days

We had 21 division down here in NSW who had no qualms about giving you a good bashing and sending you on your way.

I heard Ryde used to be bad back in the day. Completely changed now, it's a middle class suburb.

Cabramatta is another place that’s cleaned up its act. 30 years ago it was overrun by gangs and junkies. I remember getting off at the train with my mother when I was about 7, and someone offered her heroin. Different world there these days.

Yeah mate it was the heroin capital of Australia. Vietnamese immigrants, formed the 5T gang.

The scum I was talking about only had about a ten-year window and then they were gone the cops must have dealt with them quickly and quietly at night if you know what I mean.

Same hwre when we were kids cops would give you a flogging... You'd get the cane at school... The old man would dish out his own punishment too afterwards.

Cops were feared rather than respected I guess because we always trod that fine line.... I see vids today online of smartarses giving it to cops and teachers.
It's a very different world today

Sharps didn't last long... Flash in the pan fad... They were around when I was in primary but yeh town hall sharps were well known
More a. Melbourne thing I think

An unpopular opinion but we'd be living in a far safer society if the grubs knew that once they abused a cop, put their hands on a cop, or threatened a cop with a weapon all bets are off and whatever happens happens.
