Australia Day 2025

Sharps didn't last long... Flash in the pan fad... They were around when I was in primary but yeh town hall sharps were well known
More a. Melbourne thing I think
Melbourne was the origin and they spread out like rats says in one article on the net they were smart dressers, but I only saw regular dressing jeans and boots with the one earing, would do an about face when you saw them the cowards were always in groups.

I heard Ryde used to be bad back in the day. Completely changed now, it's a middle class suburb.
It's no wonder mate the amount houses cost these days attracting more normal people. Spoke to a mate a couple of months ago who lives where I grew up North Ryde, a house down the road from where I lived went for 3Mil the area has changed a lot housing is getting more condensed.

There is a certain degree of truth in that, however you can't ignore the bigotry and hatred they are trying to bring into our country. It must be fought against at every opportunity because ignoring it will not make it disappear
Likewise the protestors and their anti white/anti Jewish sentiments.
It must also be stood on.

Funny you should say that mate after typing "middle class" I laughed because I know how much the properties go for. The middle class is getting smaller by the day.

I'm not very political, but I think the average person is growing tired of everyone labelling everything they don't agree with as a "woke agenda".
One of my pet peeves - no such thing as the "woke agenda", it does not exist.

It's not written down anywhere, nobody on the left spectrum agrees with what that agenda might be and the people on the far left (communists and anarchists) are typically not woke in any sense of the word.

The word "woke" has been killed of all meaning, interesting considering it's only been around a few years. Stamped to death by misuse and abuse.

Can't say I look back on the days of cops getting away with threatening and bashing people as nostalgically as some of you guys......
Its not the act thats nostalgic. I was never on the end of it.
Its the community it created. Its the absense of the terrible behaviour we see these days from people who clearly believe they are untouchable.
