After what i saw from the Aussies i really like Tongas chances here.

Is it just me or is anyone else getting the feeling that even Australians will be going for Tonga?

True aussies will be going for Australia

I expect them to have a much better attitude for this game and pull away towards the end

On form (Tonga's is a while ago now) I think they can do a good job against Oz.

In my opinion - this is the worst Australian team I can remember. Half of these guys can certainly frame the jumper (in a few years nobody will remember whether they were beaten or not).

Hoping for a Oz win but how they played against an ordinary Kiwi mob does not give me any confidence.

Not me Roos all the way…. only thing to worry about is happy predicting Australia 13+

We'll smash them. It's a great story and I hope we expand the game internationally but I can see an embarrassing scoreline.

I'm with OP.
I think Tonga is gonna get up.

In for a good game tho.

It is easy gonna be better than last game, should be high scoring and close as well, would love it if it would be decided by golden point

Tonga have a strong team.
Weak halves tho but always turn up when in their red jerseys.

Yeah the forward battle should be good , but unless Cooper Cronk finds some Tongan bloodlines , Australia will win this

League is probably the one sport that I don’t support Australia. It’s better for the game if another team wins. I find no joy in watching the Roos beat up emerging nations or winning 9/10 games against NZ/England

So hard to support a Roo's team with players I really dislike

But that has been the problem for a long time

But I still hope they win

Have to look for a good win for us, but lose cronk, slater, smith and thurston and its going to take time again. Is Sharon playing if so that is a joke we need tough physical forwards against these monsters behind a mad Tongan crowd

I am on the Tongan band wagon. Would love to see them do well, the more countries that are competitive in the international game the more chance the game has to grow.

People have bought into the Tonga hype train way too much. Their 6/7/9 are reserve graders and their edge defence will be a shambles. Australia will win and win well.

Yeah looking at their team on paper I can't help but feel the same way… Though if they bustle us and happen to score first with the crowd behind them going ballistic we could find it tough.
They will be up for this early but if we can stay in it we should come home too strong they won't go the distance

Yes agree. They probaby have the two real 'class' forwards (maybe even 3 with TPJ) whereas Australia IMO have their two best forwards (Frizzell and JTurbo) on the bench. Tonga will be all about momentum, if they dominate a 10 min period they could put on a quick 18 points with little trouble. However I doubt they'll be as disciplined as NZ were to keep it up for 80 mins and Australia wont turn the ball over 11 times like they did last week.

Kata marking Latrell is laughable and their halves in Tui/Hingano are horrible at NRL level, let alone International. If Austrlalia get 50% of the ball I expect them to win by at least 3 tries. Tongas middle will hold their edges will leak like a siv if tested.
