Re-signs*

Too busy touching myself to worry about grammar….

I opened the thread thinking he had resigned and hone elsewhere.

Very happy he is staying.
Cronulla fans (on their forum) were pretty confident they were going to sign him.

lol…Cronulla fans can just leave the porch light on waiting for Harold Holt...

Great news.

Though, i must add too that it takes 0.2 seconds to add a hyphen, and it totally changes the meaning of the headline…

Interesting though that they had a video of him announcing his re-signing. Shouldn't he be in Bali right about now?

It was obviously signed and sealed some time ago, but only delivered today for whatever reason.

That's good news. He was really impressive throughout the season and can only continue to get better in the years ahead.

I guess JT must be doing something right and it's not all " abandon ship"

I was wrong.

I was led to believe he had already signed for the Sharks in June or July (or was imminently about to)

Given the source was extremely close to it all, I wonder if it was almost a done deal and there was a backflip, or something else at play.

Don't know about the Sharks but the Storm were very keen ….he was their guest at the first Semi against the Rorters and had toured their facilities....Glad he has committed to Wests Tigers in the end....

Great news re-signing Ava. I like him in the 17 but now it's up to him to kick on and prove himself to be a genuine NRL player.

I hope that the better form he showed towards the latter end of the season wasn't just about his off-contract status and was actually him starting to reach his potential. Hate to see any more of his lazy prior years efforts creep back in now that he has secured a deal until 2017\. I think both him and Marty need to be able to play 60 mins for us in our current forwards roster.

He may only have scored 2 tries but how many times did he get so close only to be unable to ground the ball or drop it on the line - seemed like it happened a couple of times a game towards the end of the season!

Well done to the club and Ava. Especially if they had to fight the Storm to re-sign him. Here's hoping Halatau is next. He deserves another yr.

rapt that ava has stayed on and now dene, for at least one more season, should be the next signing.

Happy for Ava…he _**really**_ wanted to stay a WT.

2016 Squad is building nicely considering the SC constraints...I just hope the Farah situation resolves the next week or so

Maybe we had to fire an assistant coach to re-sign Ava…tough times at the WTs 😛

24 years old. Should be starting to gear up and hit his peak period. Really need him to step up with Keith gone.
