Ava Re-signs

Good stuff Ava, now if we can only get some psycho blood pumping through those veins of his. If he played with the aggro of Waerea-Hargreaves he would be a sight to behold. Hope he continues to improve on his good season this year.

I thought he was one of our shining light this year and continues to develop.

Was particularly strong in the second half of the year. It is funny how contract time brings the best out of players.

Would love to see him add some aggression to his game and throw his massive frame around a bit more.

Our pack for next year.

Lock: Edwards (hits hard and needed to provide protection to the halves)

Second row: Lawrence (has found his position) and Sirro (needs to be injury free and bring more to the table in 2016)

Props: Woods and Sue (I preferred him at prop and loves the tough stuff)

Hooker: Cherrington/ Farah?????

Bench

Prop rotation: Taupau and Ava (need both their impact to continue to provide field position when Woods and Sue are benched). Taupau needs to be able to play bigger minutes.

Others: Cham Kee (to cover backs and forwards) and Halatua (if we resign him).

I would not like to see Lovett anywhere near NRL in 2016 unless injuries occur.

Does anyone know if Lodge is with us next year cause we need him on the bench.

Any chance Dallas Graham or another state cup/Under 20's play is good enough to play NRL in 2016.

He reminds me of the props of the past who used to generally hit their straps mid to late 20s looking to continue to get better.

Pleased to see Ava re sign, should focus on grounding the ball over the try line in the off season and eat some raw meat

Articulate, thoughtful, honest, reliable and seems a really decent and intelligent guy. I am in love!

Oh, and he plays good footy too..lol Great to see Ava sticking around.

Wasn't his biggest fan for the first half of the year but he turned things around for me the last 8weeks and was consistent.

With the reduced interchange and Galloway gone he is a N front rower and has the potential to be that starting prop we need next to woods that will get 100+meters, 20+ tackles and play 50+ minutes.

2017 will be an expensive year what with all the players coming off contract.

Looks like most players have 2 years to show why they should be offered extensions/new contracts. Could see a mass cleanout and sign a few big names
