Wests Tigers forward Ava Seumanufagai is set to play his 50th NRL game this Sunday when his side takes on the Newcastle Knights in their Round 10 clash.

Seumanufagai is one of just nine players to have played all nines games for Wests Tigers so far in 2015, averaging 73 metres and 16 tackles per game off the bench.

A Wainuiomata Lions junior in Wellington and Baulkham Hills Bulls junior in Australia, Seumanufagai debuted for Wests Tigers in Round 3, 2013 against Parramatta, whom he also played his junior football with. The prop forward played 17 games in his debut season and 23 games in 2014, and has quickly become a key part of the Club's forward rotation.

Get stuck in big fella. Showed so much promise late last year, need to kick on now.

I don't think he is overrated. I do though think that he hasn't kicked on this year.

He's not getting paid a fortune, I don't know what you critics want. Every team needs a dependable cheapie in the forwards, can't all be on Gallen salaries.

Well he's cheap and he's better than most Ava guys… I don't know I just Ava dream that he will kick on.

I don't expect him to be a Woods but do expect some development and improvement given his form last year was getting people thinking he could be a potential starting prop.

Last sentence sums it up for me, key part of the forward rotation. I thought he showed glimpses last week in a well-beaten pack, and will only improve with more time.
It'll be hard to see him crack a starting spot with the likes of Woods and Taupau still so young, and Sue and Lodge coming through as well, but he's shaping up to be a quality, dependable clubman.

People on here always bang on about how ineffective Sauce is for his size. Well whilst Ava isnt as tall by an inch or so he certainly has the kegs on every other forward. He looks 50% bigger then most of them. Id like to see someone light a firecracker under his butt and make him have a go. He could be a real cannon ball in attack if he would just fire up son!!

If he puts in a go and gets another contract, in a couple of years I can see a forward rotation of this -

8 - Woods (locked in)
9 - Farah/Cherry (locked in)
10 - Lodge (locked in)
11 - Sirro Jnr (locked in)
12 - **(Experienced 2nd Rower purchased in 2016/17)**
13 - Funaki/Felise/Sirro Jnr Jnr/Lamar (any one of the multitude of young forwards coming through)

14 - Tapau (much more damaging off the bench and will strengthen the middle 3rd of the game)
15 - Ava
16 - **Experienced Hard nosed prop purchased in 2016/17 that wont let the middle of the game have a soft underbelly**
17 - left overs out of the starting lock young guys (still quick enough to play in the centres or wing if a back goes down during the game)

If the above forwards are rotated correctly at no time would there be a softening on the pitch that we currently see when Galloway, Tapau and Woods are off a the same time. It would just be continuous barrage up the guts.

I cant see a place for Sue, Santi, Buchanan and Lovett.

I think the above 8 - 11 will be locked in for the next couple of years. We really just need to buy a good rep standard 2nd rower and an experienced not a world beater prop that can thicken the D line in the middle 3rd and we should be sweet for our forwards looking towards 2016/17/18
