Avatars - I reckon they're an interesting insight.

Is this function broken??

Maximum dimensions; width: 110 pixels, height: 160 pixel

At the my my pic is 8k and 107 x 160.

I can seem to work out …..

Update: Avatars restored to old avatars AND avatar uploading now works

a lot can happen at 1am in the morning…

No I will encourage all those boring Non avatar people to find a pic, Reduce its size using any software and attach it.

LOL, I love how you like to spur us newbies on to action, Spartan. You were doing it in the "Where are you @" thread as well - you're the forum motivator! Keep it up, I need a push when it comes to this stuff because I really don't know what I'm doing most of the time.

So, the question from a boring non-avatar person, who has no idea what they're doing, is - do you know how/where I would go about finding one?

1\. go to google and type in anything that tickles your fancy, for example, type in "unicorn power!"
2\. once google has completed its search, click on the "images" button to load the image results
3\. find a picture that you like. i'm going to choose this one:


4\. once you've found your picture, save it to your desktop. Unicorns are awesome and powerful.
5\. go to http://www.picresize.com, upload your picture.
6\. in the "Resize your picture" section, type in "110 pixels" (110 percent) for the width
7\. click "i'm done"
8\. download your new picture and upload it to your User Control Panel on this forum
