Sheens has just become the first Australian coach to lose three Tests v NZ in a row since the 50's I believe

Time to retire Timmy

Laurie rang , he needs some help  :smiling_imp:

From my perspective the old brigade of Smith,Cronk Thurston,Myles etc…Anyone worth their salt knows exactly how they play their game wether in NRL,origin or Tests...the Kiwis picked them off superbly yesterday and almost knew their every move..
Our boys were out played and the Kiwi defence was outstanding, they read them like a book, the sooner we have younger, more enthusiastic players coming along and a new era coach then the better off our national side will be......the selectors need to be replaced ASAP...

In having said what I have,I also thought that the Kiwis really pressured Inglis, and his game was very ordinary, hence SKD scored a try off his bad mistake...they shut down the threats and won the game.... :unamused:

They should re-introduce the leather ball for test matches , it'll make the old timer Queensland players feel more at home

Too many Queenslanders in that side.

Everyone knows they only have a go in a certain colour.

A bit like Stephen Kearney can't Coach at NRL level but can Coach at International level

I reckon the issue is that the Aussies step up their game for origin but not so much for Test matches where as the Kiwis lift during internationals.

How else do you explain the form of Johnson and SKD in tests as opposed to their club form.

In saying that, the Kiwis won the game off the back of a brilliant game plan and oustanding defence. Don't think they would've been beaten either way.

Its our mentality towards test footy.
Having had poor opposition for years has lessened the importance in Australian eyes. When we want to play, I.e. tri-nations, world cup finals…we slaughter them. However when we have a few out injured or play with no real build up, we get done.

Replacing the experienced is no answer. Its more about instilling a national pride in the badge. Going into season ending tournaments with over a dozen unavailable is embarrassing. Playing guys out of position in the best team possible is ridiculous. We need to change this mentality.

Roos got what they deserved. This era has been the d -head for Australia. Myles, Slater, Cam Smith, Inglis. The list goes on. Hopefully the potential new breed of Peachy, Moylan, Tedesco are a little more likeable. Well done NZ. Powerful forwards that are just so mobile and dominant. Cant believe we dont play another test for a year.

Who gives a crap if they're likeable? Really stupid assessment of guys who have given their all for their country for many years. Tedesco, Moylan and co would consider themselves blessed and extremely lucky to emulate the super successful careers of those you have named.

The Kiwis have had their share of victories in Tri/Four Nations finals and World Cup finals in the last 10 years. If certain Aussies' don't want to play' for their country then piss them off and replace them with hungry, passionate young blood who would love their chance to represent their country without the ego and arrogance.

Tried that last year. Results were worse.
Whilst I agree GI, Scott and Bird were poor, the four debs were average at best themselves. The whole side looked ill prepared.
