Axe Lazarus

I feel a little guilty to say this as he has had two major knee injuries, but I think it's time we let go Blake Lazarus. With Lui and Moltzen seizing the moment and really stepping up in first grade, I really can't see Lazarus cracking the top 17 unless something extraordinary happened. I'm sure he'll get a gig somewhere else, he's a very talented young player and definitely wasn't given enough time by coach Sheens to prove himself, but at WT's I think the considering the depth we have in our halves and how well the halves are performing, it would seem very unlikely he'd play FG for the Tigers.

What do you think about his future at the Tigers?

True, but then we have Moltzen who would fill the spot quite comfortably.

Good depth, but I highly doubt Sheens will pick him, Sheens treated him disgracefully, gave him one game to prove himself against a desperate Dogs team, then had some positional change against Penrith resulting in Fitzy of all people moving to halfback, then dropped.

Talking to some Roosters mates of mine, I think we have got the better player. They are fiflthy that Jacob Miller is leaving and see him as a real talent. Also from what I have seen of Curtis Sironen he may play NRL next year or if not will be in NRL by 2012 at the latest.

I have a felling that Lui will be playing next year for us and this being the case their is no room for Lazarus at our club. I know he had potential but I never saw it the few times I watched him after he come back from injury.

Both the Roosters 20's halves Jacob Miller and Brad Murray who has gone to Parramatta are outstanding talents..

You are just regurgitating what you have read from Lazzo's fans (who went quiet after Rd 20 or so) young fellow!!!! Your own words betray your ignorance!!!

Do not use terms like "treated disgracefully" when you have no clue - i.e. Fitzy did not play the halfback role versus the Panthers!

Lazzo needed the past two years to mature both physically and mentally - but lost them to injury! He was a last resort this year and proved to be a bridge too far before being rightly returned to NSW Cup (like Waters)!!

His last game for BRET proved that he will not be in high demand from NRL clubs and I won't miss him - same as Josh Lewis!! Neither can handle pressure!!
