Ayoub, Weidler, Farah & Akouola

The whole thing was a setup. Weilder made Akauloa out to be some SBW type star of the game and big bad Jason Taylor refused to pick him in first grade and instead made him play a position he didn't want to play in reserve grade. Lord have Mercy!!

Look I've had some very close to me be effected by severe mental illness. Some times they need a shoulder to cry on. Also sometimes people need to be told to toughen up. Just because life doesn't pan out perfectly for you doesn't mean you need to go straight to the 'self harm' card.

And meanwhile Jason Taylor cops all this crap in the media like he is to blame for Sitaleki's suicide thoughts.I know Wobbies rent a crowd numbers are dwindling massively but gee this takes it to a new level.Taylor is showing the courage of a warrior in this as he sticks to his convictions whilst Wobbie and his rent a crowd dodgy brothers mafia ala Ayoub and co are resorting to one weasel attempt after another. Why do we constantly have to put up with this crap????It seems like we can't go 24 hrs now without another attack.

Courage of a warrior! When is JT being awarded the VC?

Von Miller you've given me a good laugh to start the day. Keep the comedy coming!

Aarrrggghhh … These guys are massive germs. Every article like this just ruins robbies legacy. He could so easily put a stop to this and I'm pretty sure he is sanctioning it.

To me, he's almost dead as a tigers great now.

I have no idea who thought this was a good idea (Farah, Ayoub, Weidler or some faceless Ch 9 exec), but it's a bit sick. And transparent.

What a disgraceful piece of media Weilder constantly pushing Akouola to say he was being pushed to suicide by Jason Talylor ..Farah a club legend that will be the day ..himself and his management will do anything to trash our club please leave and do us all a favour ,what a low act!

I remember laughing when Ben Teo called Weidler a germ. Never have truer words been spoken.

Can I just say I really hope the club is helping Robbie through this whole situation

Its not ideal and it's hurting all the parties involved , but Robbie still needs to be respected throughout the whole process

Yes I'd feel terrible too if 20k a week kept getting deposited into my bank account .

Can't wait for Weidler to interview Matt Lodge, telling how he stalked two girls, nearly killed a bloke, and broke into an apartment and terrorised a family, all because JT didn't give him enough game time.

David Lord didn't hold back against Robbie this week and neither did Tommy Raudonikis on the Footy show.

Journalism is always about providing different views -Weidler obviously is supportive of Farah for reasons you would have to ask him - Robbie might be his mate just like Mick Potter was Gordys mate.
I tend to be outraged by the ones I don't agree with and quote the ones I do!
Sita seems to be in a good place now and if Robbie is struggling at the moment it's hardly surprising that those that are close to him are going to speak up.
Listen to Tommys spray if you want some balance.

I didn't see Tommy's spray but he doesn't masquerade as a journalist, he's just a bloke giving his opinion. Journalism these days seems to be more about pushing different agendas than providing different views.

Probably the same people who thought it was a great idea to kidnap children in a foriegn country. Kerry would be rolling in his grave. I remember Kerry tore up Shane Warne's contract during all his sex scandals, then after he died Kerry's son signed him back up almost instantly.

The was a story tonight on Nine news by Danny Weidler on Sitaleki Akouola.
The video is also on Weidlers twitter account.
In the story Sitaleki tells of how he supported Robbie last week by catching public transport out to LO, how this time last year he went through the same thing Robbie is going through, and finally how he was contemplating suicide after being dropped by Taylor
Im glad everything now seems OK for him, depression and mental illness is no light thing…..but I cant help but feel, watching the video...he was possibly coerced into this. I feel he is being used. He was prodded by Weidler imo, he seemed reluctant...maybe Im reading it wrong. But the fact the interview was all about Robbie to begin with and finished with his lowest of days, it seems to me like the concern is in the wrong place.

I wonder why this story is only being put forth now?

The link with him supporting Robbie is somewhat relevant, but its very minor in the whole scheme of thing when he was in fact contemplating ending it all.

I may be cynical, and I expect to be called all sorts of things...but I believe Weidler is a director at Ultra Management (sports), along with Sam Ayoub, who happens to be Sitalekis manager, as well as Robbies.
You dont need to be too sharp to join the dots

You don't need to be too sharp to explain your interpretation, either. Stand back before you hastily join any dots and if your so confused just accept it, Mr Bean is no coach.

I just saw this, and its a new low. Farah has just retweeted it so it means he is happy for the story to drag on as well and he clearly endorses it. Isnt he 'smarter than that'? You lie with dogs and you get fleas. Farah has just lost any support that i had for him. He is a disgrace. If you need help, get help? And let people help you. Dont turn it into a scam and a joke for your own personal gain.

Farah is a disgrace of a man, and this is as a direct result of his own actions - endorsing the story. You might be able to blame the coach for poor decisions at your expense, but you cant blame JT for this!

Here we go again, of course it's a conspiracy, everything is, especially if we don't agree with what it says

That is disgraceful and pathetic in its transparency. I really hope Teddy gets himself away from Ayoub, he seems like such a decent guy and he doesn't need scum like Ayoub to get him extra coin, his talent speaks for itself. I also hope someone points out to Sitaleki that his agent has just used him as a pawn for the benefit of one of the cash cows on his books.

I don't know what their agenda is. This is just going to widen the rift. Maybe Ayoub just wants to force the club to make a payout of the contract so he gets a cut of that and then gets another cut of the new contract at a fresh club.

Why get away from Ayoub, he seems to be able to get great contracts for his players.
That's the bottom line, but we know best

Am I missing something. Why didn't akouola just go up ask the question himself rather than expecting the coach to approach him?

Maybe that the attitude that was missing.

You can't knock the club for their efforts with depression. Do a lot of beyond blue work. But they have to know about it to do something. They aren't mind readers…

.. And maybe if you suffer from depression, wouldn't the smart thing to do would be to keep out of a depressing media battle??

Well I've been on the fence but that does it. Get out you cancer, you are not bigger then the club.

I just watched the story and it was pretty ordinary. Still I don't see why it has to be a conspiracy with Robbie involved in any way in it. It's just poor journalism designed to cause problems by someone who lacks integrity.

Robbie should though distance himself from it. I saw that he has retweeted it. That just makes things worse.

It wasn't that big a thing. He also tweeted stating thanks for the support on the weekend.

He shouldn't have done that though but there are some other tweets that are just as bad from what I can see. He is obviously upset about the whole situation and I don't blame him. It's an ordinary way to finish a pretty good career.
