Ayshford injury last 10 seconds.

What was the injury to Ayshford?

They could do a few things there. The simplest to not unsettle the team would be Fitzy to wing and Brown inside him. Daniella is another option but I dont know about his defence. The other option could be to shift Lawrence to mark up against Tonga and play Tuamata on the other side. You also have option of shifting Moltzen there but again, he shouldnt be moved from 7 just yet, and Tonga would probably make him look like a dill…

Benji, Tuamata & Tuqiri would be devastating on the left...

Hmm…geez Ayshford had a few troubles yesterday, but he's way better than that.Would've love to see him try and redeem himself against Tonga..Tonga was great the other night and for a while too.

Daniella concerns me...

Me think Sheens will move Brown to the centres to accommodate Daniella or Fitzy on the wing..hope not...because I'm liking the bench.I think sheens has got it right for the moment.

Oh and don't change Flannagans role..he's going great guns..Just like to see him get a bit game time.

Medial ligament. Gone for at least a month most likely. I'd rather not see Fitzy on the wing. He's too slow and defensively did not read the game well against the Roosters. I'd rather see Brown move to the centres and Pritchard come onto the wing, or Davis come into the centres and Brown stay on the wing. Daniela will be nothing more than a speed bump for Tonga. Flanagan might be an option…It would allow Sheens to recall Moors to the bench.

Taumata did not play on the weekend as his ankle is still crook, I wouldn't count on seeing him play this week.

I think those are probably the best options that you listed.

i dont want to see this but
1\. moltzen
3\. ryan
7\. lazarus

is a huge possibilty now or maybe blake at FB, i dunno sheens never does the commom sense thing so ive got no idea what to expect

Just watched the replay of the game on IQ.

Blakes knee looked to buckle when he took Crocker in that tackle. Literally seconds on the clock. Such a harsh injury

Have to leave Ryan at 1.
I would love to see Flanagan tried in the centres.
The more I see of him the more I think he has what it takes to be a world class centre.
Put him there to fill in for Ayshford & I think he'll be there for a long time to come.
Ayshford would then be perfect for Sheens' utility role when he's fit where he would be very effective.

1.Ryan
3.Brown
5.Fitzhenry

17.Daniela

I don't necessarily agree with it though i think thats what we'll see. I'd like to see…

1.Ryan
3.Brown
5.Fitzhenry

17.Lazerus

Davis is the man to stop Tonga with his solid defence.

Give the bloke a shot. Promote the human wrecking ball. How refreshing it would be to replace a Centre with a Centre, rather than attempt to make-shift a player which would only disturb the balance and dynamic of the side.

Davis has been biding his time and has been one of the most consistent players in the Reserve Grade competition.

Leave Ryan at Fullback, leave Moltzen 7 and for the love of the good Lord above, leave Brown on the wing. Do not shift him to the centres. Tonga will be a handful and an enthusiastic Davis with a point to prove could be a masterstroke.

I wish you were selecting our team.

1\. Ryan
2\. Tuqiri
3\. Flanagan
4\. Lawrence
5\. Tuiaki
6\. Marshall
7\. Moltzen
8\. KG
9\. Farah
10\. Gibbs
11\. Ellis
12\. Heighington
13\. Fulton

14\. Ayshford
15\. Fifita
16\. Cayless
17\. Moors

That's a great side.

Tonga will score a hat trick next week put your money on it whoever is there will be shocking

Thats taking pessimism to whole a new level. I actually cant recall Tonga ever tearing us to shreds.

Geez, if you just looked at this thread without knowing rugby league you'd think Tonga is Hayne, Marshall, and Thurston rolled into one!

They just need someone with good lateral defense and they'll hold their own.

We need someone who tackles with their shoulder, not with their hands. Tomane was beaten on several times by a palm. Titans were also caught on the back foot several times and not running up in a line.

Actually I think it's pretty much the normal level of pessimism for Golden.

Idiot statement….why would "whoever is there" be shocking?????

To be perfectly honest, whoever gets the gig will most probably do a better job than young Ayshford has these past 4 games.
