Ayshford ??

Wondering where people see Blake Ayshford in the scheme of things

Tuqiri looks like he may have turned the corner

Utai playing well

Beau is a revelation in the centres

Rowdy picks himself

Sironen at 6

Blake and Reddy fighting out the last spot on the bench at best

What do you all think ??

Humble has the bench spot for me. Ayshford used to be my favourite player but there's no spot in the 17 for him anymore

ayshford is a very good player and he should hold his spot, i would like to see ryan go back to fullback and molzten to the bench or to the state cup.

Even though Lote has turned the corner I'd still not offer him a contract. There's too many young talented backs in the club to be holding on to him. Ryan is playing well in the centres but no better than when on the wing

For 2013 my backs would be:

1\. Tedesco
2\. Ryan
3\. Ayshford
4\. Lawrence
5\. Utai/Koro/Nofo

14\. Reddy/Utai - can play in the backs or a stint in the backrow

Totally agree alex(not cause we share the same name either)…Lote should not be offered another contract Your back 5 for 2013 is spot on.

I think that playing all 3 wingers in the starting team is not the best balance, but they are all playing well, id move Utai to the bench, even tho he is going great guns, and bring in blake to the centres.

Haha thanks mate.

I don't see why Ayshford and Lawrence were even shifted out of the centres in the first place. Last year they were both great for us, and both were considered Origin players this year. I suppose their form has not been great, but still, you gotta persist.

Ryan will move back to the wing, Ayshford back to centre, Utai to the bench. IMO anyway…

Why Yoss Ryan has looked like our best centre in the two games he has been there

I know Lawrence and Ayshford have probably better qualities as centres at their best , but they are far from their best form

They shouldn't get it on rep . They have to earn it in my opinion

I'm more saying what I think will happen. But in any case I think Ryan is a better winger than centre. Sheens is hardly going to choose Ryan ahead of Lawrence at centre. Then it's a matter of Ayshford vs Ryan.

5 or 6 grammar and punctuation errors at a quick glance.

Ayshford has been very disappointing this year.

I certainly wouldn't be tinkering with a backline that scored 40 unanswered points last weekend.

Bench or state cup I think.

Still think he is our best option to partner Lawrence in centres, but Beau has certainly made up ground. Hopefully Blake rises to the challenge.

I am really not sold on him being our best centre.
Last year he showed great form in the back-end of the year but for the moment he should only be on the bench at best IMO.
Unless there is an injury or a form-slump to the current backline I really hope Sheens doesn't make changes

Ayshford will be chomping at the bit, and I'd prefer him in the Centres or near the fringes considering we are playing against a backline who love to jump super super high and catch bombs - SO his height would be preferable.

I'd shift him to the centres, Beau to the wing, and Utai off the bench.
