B.J. in tatters...

Farewell Joseph Ikenasio Poiva Leilua Kelemete.

BJ at his best was pure destruction. Don't ever forget the last-round match Tigers had to win at LO to qualify, and Leilua and Rapana had an absolute field day.

Debuted at 19, yoyo-ed between being a liability and a wrecking ball. But he didn't play for 4 different clubs for no reason - nobody could get the best out of him for the duration of a contract. Only ever saw out 1 contract - his first 2.5 years at Raiders.

I reckon the word "enigma" applies to BJ as much as any footballer to have graced the NRL.

Man if he had the work ethic of some less talented players he could've been one of the best centres ever. Unfortunately he was unfit and lazy and besides two great seasons he's been mostly average

I had big hopes for BJ joining us after seeing him run through, over and around us in his Raiders days. Then he became the guy that he used to run at when he joined us. I was really disappointed.

We used to have Chance Peni in the NYC, we could have promoted him. Or signed Peni Terepo.

He would have to substantially improve. He was horrible this year. I wish we dumped him.

Hahaha right? Anyone who thinks he will carve up the SL has been blindfolded for two years. The guys the plodderest plod to ever plod.

I know with Tigers he didn't do too much, and the Raiders let him leave for that reason, but you never know with a new environment.

Just wishing him luck and his best bet is to get a contract over there rather than the NRL.

If he happens to miraculously play well in the SL, it says a lot about the Tigers environment

Perhaps he didn't get enough good ball but his defence was very poor.It looks like Madge wants him again next year and i have no problem with that as he was not bleeding us dry with his salary.He is worth another cheap contract to try and find his best form,i hope he does
