Interesting. If it does get built it kinda is in our catchment area.Very close to the Wanderers base also.Wouldnt mind playing 6 games there a year and 6 ANZ.

Seems like a bunch of pie in the sky stuff really. In reality it's in the middle of nowheresville, hence the space to accommodate an airport.

No-one likes living or even being near airports. They're noisy and dirty. Build a stadium in the middle of an area which doesn't even have a sporting team in any code? Yeah, great idea. WSW would never move there. Nor would Panthers, Eels, Dogs and nor should we.

…not necessarily. i think whenever and wherever it gets built they will have to plan it very well. don't want a repeat of the titans stadium, from reports its an awesome footballing venue but located in middle of nowhere and there aren't any side attractions like bars, pubs nearby. plus it's not supported too well public transport wise.

Nowheresville? As in nowhere near you(nor me for that matter). But by the time this is built it will be very accessible to a lot of people. So many brand new apartments in mascot now and Green Square etc.Cause they have realised providing your not directly under the flight path Aircraft noise these days is no worse than a silly hoon driving past(these units could hit the airport with a throw of a rock)in his fully sick hotted up monaro.WSW would never move there huh.Well considering badgerys creek is smack bang in the middle of the migrant belt(EX serb/croat etc) of Fairfield/Liverpool etc it truly is the local team let there be no illusions that literally two minutes from the airport is the spiritual home of soccer in Australia.

I really don't understand what's wrong with ANZ. The location, capacity, facilities everything it has it.

ANZ is good.Just an Interesting concept a Stadium net to an Airport.New York's Shea stadium(home of the NY Mets and also former home to NY Jets)is next to an Airport.Just saying it is possible.

titans stadium aka cbus super stadium is about 350 metres from Robina train station .

great place for a weekend away although the scheduling has to better than our game there this year which was a sunday afternoon in march . the eastern side of the ground was sunburn central for the entire game .

Maybe its not supported public transport wise by the public, everyone drives up there. As for the sun factor its a well known issue. How they built the stadium in a hot climate without thinking about sun positioning is a mystery.

I guess they just wanted a structure with seats to put bums on; hasn't really worked out that way has it? Many seats, not so many bums.
