Ballin - Another Knee Reco perhaps

Classy as always

Please. You can't hack Robbie and then get out the violin over this injury.

I feel sorry for the guy but put it in perspective. It'd be like the Manly players having a break down because Moltzen has retired.

How funny is it all the Robbie haters getting themselves in a lather over this. Hack the guy who has played with us his whole career but if 60 minute Ballin gets an injury whilst earning good money it's a terrible event that we can't say anything negative about. Hypocrites.

Dumb acquuisition from the get go ….
Let's sign up pensioners with bung knees ...
Where do I sign up ?

Sign on the dotted line Hobbo if you are a pensioner

…......................................

I had a knee operation a quarter of a century ago and it still plays up badly - so nothing is guaranteed with knees. So some of us doubters had good reason to be doubtful.

He cost us virtually nothing, so i don't know how people classify someone a bad signing when they came for free.

Yep. Some very low posts made.

Oh the irony of you guys talking about class :roll

Ballin is a great guy.
Damn shame, he's a championship player.
Forced retirement, perhaps…

He is a fitness guy (Personal trainer)
Maybe we could keep him around in a certain employment position....

Agree Demps. At his age you would have to wonder if it will be worth it all to try and come back again. Feasibly he would be right to go for the start of next season but it's a shame.

High performance coordinator perhaps…

Some of the best all time hypocritical posting here. Poor 60 min Ballin but the devil that is a club great in Robbie should be crucified at any opportunity.

I don't actually remember any ''Robbie haters'' laughing and beating their chests after his neck injury against the Dogs.

How much is 60 minutes of footy worth. I reckon he has probably been paid well and truly over what he has been worth to us.

And whose paying him? Not us.

As i was saying, as much as people may dislike Robbie, nobody was cheering when he got injured unlike some in this thread.

Give the selfrighteousness- a break Ink . most haven't said any thing about Ballin personally, but more about the stupidity of Taylors actions, most of us do feel for Ballin, it's not good to see any player finish his career this way( once again if it's true).
But JT deserves all he gets

not sure about free. in the list that TT posted earlier in the year, ballin was in our top 25 that would suggest to me that he's probably getting a few big $$$.

it's a moot point anyway, what's done is done. it was a 50/50 decision which didn't work out unfortunately. let's move on.

I feel somehow Robbie is behind all of this! It has got to be his fault.

Wishing Matty a speedy recovery, it's terrible news

Wish Ballin the best whatever happens. A very risky signing that failed.

Ill openly say that Farah no longer has my support, but he damn well better play out of his skin for us now, given he is on good money to do so (plus the extra which we rightfully owe him because of his good nature)

Credit where it is due for taking unders to help us out, but he better stand up now. Im not asking for anything more than what he is being paid to do. Lets just see if he can still do it in the clubs hour of need.

Feel sorry for Ballin. He played great for the Sea Eagles for many years but ole father time has caught up with him. Time to hang the boots up and get that knee fixed or he won't be able to walk properly when he's an old man.

Hindsight is a great thing in life ..things just do not work out at times ,good luck Matt sorry it did not work out for you .

Was not hindsight for a number of fans who said signing an ageing hooker coming off a knee reco was a disaster waiting to happen.

You slam the club for being inept but give them a free pass here

Agenda driven stuff.

He was signed by CEO of the year Justin Pascoe.

Ballin was busted last year it's unfortunate but close to the dumbest signing I can remember. Best of luck.

We arent talking about a possible career ending injury to farah, a bloke whos brought all his grief on himself.
Theres the difference for the dummies

Why do you keep going about Pascoe?

The guy has not even been here 12 months.

I don't really have a strong opinion of him either way with him to be honest yet.

People say a coach needs 3 or 4 years to clean up the mess but your all over this bloke like a rash despite Mayer and co leaving the place in turmoil.

Im scratching my head.

Ceo of the year? when did i ever say that?
