Benny does Balmain.

I think I still have a copy on the old VHS somewhere of this iconic masterpiece. No holes barred, nothing has really changed and it's survived the test of time. Yes it is degrading, but people do these things for money, to support drug habits. Let's not forget that none of this is made possible without the producers and cameraman, they set the seen for the rest to enjoy, without them this filth ain't possible.
I'm sorry if the titles not right, but I do remember correctly, in the movie everyone gets XXXXXX.

Well in response to Ink and Go Moltzen _**I don't think any of us truly know those answers.**_ As CQ suggests it is some sort of administration fee but what that means in reality is something _**only a few privy to the details would know**_.

Says a lot for being a football club memeber doesnt it …..... :unamused:

There will always be grubs circling around a rotting carcass picking at the bones.

They should flush the west tigers down the toilet and start again.

We buy the tickets, the merch, support the players, and are expected to put up with this garbage every year like a bunch of mindless drones.

Stop then, that's the only way they will sit up and take notice.

Do you honestly believe that?

I'm not spending a cent on this bloody club until they get their house in order, and I'd probably average somewhere in $600-$700 a year on the club in memberships/merchandise and I usually buy Dad merchandise on top of that as well for birthdays/father's day/Christmas.

So that's about $900 a year they can forget about. I assume there's others out there who spend just as much, if not more than me. 110 fans is $100,000K in lost revenue. That's got to hurt.

@Cultured Bogan and Knuckles, totally agree but how do I tell my kids no more caps flags jerseys and no more going to Campo to watch the Wests Tigers play which usually is 2adults and 2 kids entry's.Like you guys I spend about $600.00per year …..so disappointing at the moment... 😱pen_mouth:

It would be tougher for families to weigh the cost against the love of the club. The kids are blinded by their faith and don't pay too much attention to the politics of the club which adds a different dynamic into the mix. I don't know how you tell your kids that no more games/jerseys/etc because of issues not of their doing and outside their control. I imagine they'd be terribly disappointed.

Do you keep supporting the club financially that treats you and your kids with contempt though?

@Cultured Bogan, good question,it brings me to the point of a dilemma(what is it you say is a dilemma)It's when your in bed with an absolutely gorgeous naked woman on one side of you and a naked man on the other side of you….Who do you turn your back on??? :wtf

As has been said before, people probably shouldn't be making judgements unless they know the full details, which no doubt aren't exactly contained in a newspaper report.

I've actually asked this question of a board member before, and they told me the exact same line as was given at the AGM, that they have to pay an administration fee to Rozelle Village, and have not paid anything to Ben Elias as an individual. What happens to the money after that is none of Balmain's business. Some other people clearly take a more cynical view of this and are calling them liars, but I tend to take people at their word. If what Munk is saying is true, these payments have been going to Rozelle Village and through to Elias, but now they've been instructed to pay Elias directly.

In all honesty, as a member of both the Football and Leagues Clubs since the day of my 18th birthday, I don't have any issue with this. It's quickly forgotten that Elias put up the cash himself to keep the club alive for the past 5 years. The money he's getting now is not at a profit, he's getting back some of what he put on the line.

That's just my 2 cents, and I accept anyone who wants to criticise that, but I think we need to start trusting that the people we elect to be in charge of the club will always do the best for the club, rather than taking a cynical view to every decision that is made.

@Benjirific thanks for the valuable input, myself personally I think if everyone knew where Balmain Leagues Club stands as far as the developement goes and can start paying back monies owed then there wouldnt be so much speculation and inuendo, I loved going to the Tigers club as a young fella and there probably are heaps that feel the same.I honestly dont think anyone would wish them down the drain.I was a Balmain boy all my life now Im Wests Tigers through and through, but would like a resolution to this problem sooner than later…. 😛ray: 😛ray: 😛ray:

Have you visited the club lately? :roll :roll Have you noticed the track record of some of the tigers board members. When looking for the truth if you see vultures scabbing off a rotten carcass look elsewhere.

Stuff this

Dave Smith

Give the Magpies $ 4 million and tell them to shove off

Pay the Balmain debts off and tell them to shove off

Give the WT's back to the fans , how hard is it ??

I like 95% of the other fans couldn't give two craps about the JV and the conditions of the JV

All it is doing is keeping two dinosaurs football clubs alive on life support

Was that the aim of the voting members in 1999 of both parties when we decided to come together ?? Not bloody likely

It s$%ts me that Balmain and Wests hold the WT's to ransom at almost every turn
