Balmain seek extension..Wests Tigers

I'd put myself into that basket, as an ex-die hard Balmain supporter, who just wants this mess to end.

Whether Balmain lives or dies (and I certainly don't want it to die), the Wests Tigers are who I cheer for on weekends, and its the Wests Tigers that I want to ultimately succeed, even if it means a nostalgic parent club no longer plays a role in that.

As long as they wear a Tiger on their chest, they will be my team. I hope others see it the same way.

In all seriousness,I hope the Balmain mess gets sorted in a civil way,if they do go,it will be a part of history,a history full of pride and passion,and also one of the founding partners of this great club the Wests Tigers..

There would be a lot of people with not much to winge about if and when the Balmain side of the venture goes belly up. Like a few others I loved my Balmain Tigers, but as far as Iam concerned they have not existed since the Weststigers came into the comp. Funny I have never seen the joint venture as a Balmain/Wests combo,I just see them as this team called the WestsTigers. So I just want to see the Weststigers being in a position where they can compete with the very best and if that means getting a new partner and flicking the Balmain side of the venture because they can not meet their obligations than so be it

My point has always been about the over exaggeration of the monetary value of our emblem, NOT what people personally feel about it.

Changing it back to the Magpies will only serve to alienate two thirds of the supporter base. It is a ridiculous business move. The same would apply if the shoe was on the other foot.

I can't believe anyone would suggest changing things again and putting the kids (who I would say are the a good chunk of the supporter base,) through the same disappointment and heartbreak that the old Wests and Balmain fans went through with

I agree just as long as if there is a new partner the club still keeps its name of Wests Tigers which it has been known as for the last 16 years - i.e. since the club's inception.
