Balmain set to retain stake in Wests Tigers as deadline extended

The inner west does seem to be ignored in a lot of this idle chat in the public space, especially given the population, and that the real major player behind the club is based in the area (Wests Ashfield).
Admittedly I'm likely biased as I grew up there and I owe my support to my family's heritage in the area (back to the Pratten Park days).

Obviously not trying to take away from Macarthur.

Yep even got the location of the swimming pool wrong.

BBF: you are right there is that RSL Youth Club in between (they that have junior chess at). Haven't been there for years.

I was just being pedantic for a laugh - there is also Wyatt Park which was used as a car park in the day.

When I thought of later the pool does share fence with the oval at rear of RSL club so I was close enough. I used to bomb the pool inspectors from those high diving platforms and get ordered out - too old and scared to do now.
