Congrats Balmain! Outstanding achievement, especially considering their major strike weapons were missing. Well done boys!

That's a super effort given the changes to the team. A credit to the coaching staff who have produced a very well drilled team.

What an impressive team I only seen from just before half time.Watching their defensive structure & line speed it it hard to believe they are only 18 they are a very well coached team. Forgive me for not knowing their names but #12 is an outstanding prospect, he reads play remarkebly especially for a back rower & a lot of time he was opposite Frawley who the Cowboys have MASSIVE wraps on he is destined for first grade. The 7 was good , his kicking game needs some work but he was solid,4 & 6 were both very solid as was the 10 overall you couldn't fault any player. On a side note QRLTV were filming there (not sure if it was the highlights or the whole game) so it should be on the net soon.

Thanks for the info and the report. Btw the team list is on the first page of this thread if you want to match some names to numbers.

Cheers Yossarian, I will say one thing I didn't notice anyone from WT's there( if there wasn't it is disappointing) but there was a sout from Parra

Couldn't say - some of the other guys like Flash might know. I would think that the WT recruitment people would have had a good look at the team during the SG Ball season. I'd be surprised if Parra were the only team represented but I guess most boys are locked in to contracts by now.

Only know him from a lot of junior events & he was talking with Clinton Schiffcoske (although it seems every club has plenty of them know). The 18's may be tied up but not many from Souths Logan who won the 16's apparently aren' t according to a father.

I don't think there was anyone from the West's Tigers there but Andrew Webster is now in charge of the 19's Development/Cubs squad and their efforts won't go unoticed. There are quite a few of the SG Ball players who have been signed to new contracts and a few who were already contracted.

Hi Flash, to me Andrew Webster appeared to be extremely calm even just before 1/2 time when it was 6 all. I have never seen the team play before & I would never have known that they were missing so many players that is a great credit to all involved. The patience ,comittment towards each other & compossure shown during the game was beyond their years.I was impressed with the 20's last week today I was in awe of this team. Congratulations to all involved this is a massive achievement & one I hope is fully recognised & rewarded. P.s. is there still a club championship & if so how does it work?

I was pretty confident that the boys would still go well without the missing players as they have all filled in at various stages throughout the season. I thought their attack would suffer a bit without Moses, Cherrington and Daoud but the halves performed well today, defensively everyone really put in an extra effort, the majority of the tries conceded were through our own mistakes.
I think after getting off to a reasonable start in the first half Andrew Webster could see that we were gaining the ascendancy and knew that the game was there for the taking.
As far as I know that is the end of the junior rep stuff for this season but we must be right up there as far as the Club Championship goes.
