Balmain steamrolled by NRL

Being female doesn't exclude you from making informed decisions about a FG coach. I'm sure you were just fishing?

Or he could just been talking about their lack of experience in Rugby League?

I actually prefer most members of the board being successful business people instead of ex-footballers.

The CEO and now the future Director of Coaching should have that covered.

Remember Paul Kent saying what qualifies Mike Bailey picking a coach based on his RL experience.

Wonder what he thinks qualifies the new lady directors doing same.

I dont know… But Im damn sure that i would prefer long standing successful businesswomen running our affairs rather than a bloke whos resume consists of giving out prizes from the boot of a car, and being a weatherperson.

People need a reality check on what the actual problems are within our club…

I dont really care what direct qualifications the new directors have in regards to rugby league, what is important is they have proven business acumen, the ability to diligently direct funds to where they are needed, the understanding and ability to restructure our obviously flawed business model and also football department into one that is accountable, also being able to recognise the positions within said structures whom are of most importance and thus staff them with the best available candidates...

People dont become successful if they refuse to surround themselves with the best staff possible. This new board shouldnt be sucked into jobs for the boys the likes of which blight our current ranks. The know they are on borrowed time to make an impression, one that will be recorded on their resumes forever. You dont risk your name signing to this sinking boat if you dont think you have the nous to rectify it.

Tigergirlz , don't get off your high horse ,just relax ,it was an enquiry regarding the experience needed to find a suitable NRL coach,it will take a lot of decision making that they make the right choice, for the betterment of our great club…

Sorry CQ but the last person I want advising the board is Mayer

Can you imagine his info on Farah seeing they aren't even on speaking terms

Farah will be playing for the Raiders based on Mayer's report

That will be the GM's role

Point is it was said Bailey wasn't qualified to be a part of selecting a coach because he hasn't a playing background even though he has been following the game for 50 years plus. Since the new directors have also not played the game if the same reference isn't made about them that can only mean a bias against Bailey and or his coming from the Wests group.
