Pretty decent side named. Interesting, but good to see Limoni Kamuta and Taqele Naiyaravoro still around. There is some serious size on the Balmain bench, 14-17 are all monsters.

I thought Nathan Waters was a half back, didn't see much of him last year so don't know whether he played much hooker in 2011 or not, if not he might be being looked at as a back up for Robbie.

Personally I have never rated Nathan as a half.

His toughness and guile are much better suited to hooker

I have just had a look at the first grade team and noticed Politoni is playing hooker so looks like I'm off the mark.

glad to see Taqele Naiyaravoro still with the club, was wondering what had happened to him

hoping al schirnack has an injury free year, always seen him as someone who can handle first grade well.

will be interested in reports on grant, chisholm, spencer and port

I'm keen to see how Mundarra Weldon goes. A friend of a friend says he was a country rugby league star last year in the style of a young Artie Beetson

mitch brown , whats doing with him , please let us know if injured , or if he is not in the top 17 if injured unlucky but if not , would be a disgrace

Game has been delayed until 4:30pm due to a heavy downpour at Bluetongue stadium.

Game has now been pushed back to 5:15pm and will be a 30 minute hitout only. Rain must have really hit the ground hard.

Up 4 - 0 at the moment. Simona try. Opted against taking the conversion

Full time 8 all. Tigers had better of play but dropped some ball in try's prong situations.

Chisolm played well, as did Russell. Also thought Shirnack had a good game. Not all numbers matched jerseys which made it difficult.

Tuigamala is a beast. Very promising squad for BRET.

Mullet had a good game too but does look small (but no smaller than Port)

Yeh, did John Grant touch the ball, from the video from the previous match, he looked solid and strong too. cmon sheens, give him a shot!!

Think John Grant played in the 19 jersey. Looked very fast when he made a break down the right wing and through a great pass back to the inside when he approached the full back (though I would've loved to see him try and beat the fullback himself).

Also produced a decent finish to score in the right corner. Didn't get a chance to see what his runs out of dummy half were like as the game only went for 30 minutes and BRET were on the front foot for most of the game.
