Honestly just find it quite sad that after 25 years so many people are still upset about some aspect of the whole Balmain vs Magpies thing.

How long will it take for people to be both proud of our history and proud of our current club? Another 25 years?

With respect to you BT's and many others, I find it hard to believe that you still don't understand what the gripes are from the West's side of our JV.
But I'm not going into again atpit, our Mods will have another breakdown seeing how many of my posts they can cancel 🤔 and suspend me for, again 😂.

Be a salesman sell us your/club gripes in a reasonable manner instead of being a victim that seem's full of remorse about the merger and glogging threads with wild accusations ,doing to people here what you complain about is apparently being done to you , And i may take you of ignore

Just looking at some old Balmain stats.
Biggest win 62-4 v Wests @ Pratten Park 1944
Biggest loss 62-5 v Wests @ Lidcombe Oval 1974.
That just about sums up the joint venture.

Man, I was at that 62-5 drubbing! And we were the last to score. I think a try to Glenn Capelin in the dying minutes. My one and only trip to Lidcombe Oval!

Yep i’m with you there , i grew up a Balmain supporter but also liked Wests and attended many a game at Lidcombe .I accepted the merge quite easily and it’s a shame old supporters from both clubs are too happy to bag the Wests Tigers

My dad was a Maggies supporter, so if we had to merge, it was the least painful as far as I was concerned.

Not much of a consolation to be fair! But that was a stacked Magpies team. Parker and Knight in the centres, Foster and co. up front. A really good team.

Yes it was a good side. Tony Ford played fullback that day and scored 23 points from memory, a try and 10 goals.
