how can it be semi finals already anyway? its only april! couldnt they make it so every team plays each other once? make the season a bit longer!

They do have things like School cert and HSC to concentrate on as well, thats why the season is brief.
Most will not make a career in footy so this is important.

disapointing to see the Magpies go out, he seems really unfair that the minor premiers can go out after one semi loss…... mind you the whole junior rep system is unfair, with so few games the draw can make a huge difference and make or break a season, particuarly for the middle of the road sides.

I think the benefits of having 2 junior rep sides for the west tigers is huge, we get twice as many kids in the system to develop, which is great, as we know it is not always the stars of the SG Ball that go on to have great NRL careers, alot of the lesser lights in age group footy, often end up as strong NRL players.

Notice on the tigers website they talk about NSW CCC having the following tigers juniors, Nicholas Paul and Paul Simona in the team. Is that the same Nicholas Paul who plays his junior football on the central coast and the same Paul Simona who certainly doesn't play in the Balmain junior league. neither commit to playing in the Balmain Junior League. That suggests they learnt their football elsewhere and just play the rep season with Balmain, hardly tigers juniors!!!

Wow I thought the McIntyre finals system was bad. Surely the minor premiers shouldn't be able to be knocked out in the first week of the finals? What's the point of being minor premiers?
